Just like the many other reviewers I’m beginning to wonder what is taking so long with this new update for the market place. I’ve been using this app for over a year and once they took the market place down for the update I was happy to be patient due to the fact that we’re still able to gain credits every day whilst we wait. However I’m starting to grow tired of waiting as it has been so long. I understand they give video updates weekly to let us know what’s been happening during the week but surely it cannot take this long to sort it out? They’re losing their stars on the App Store because people are sick of waiting and questioning if they’re just scamming us for our data at this point, which I’m also starting to wonder! I agree that once the market place does come back (if ever) everyone has so many credits that the app will either crash or run out of vouchers too quickly. There is only so much waiting we’re all willing to do before we all leave, I just hope they haven’t had us on a hook this whole time.
Unlike most people I was patient with the app and was not minding that I wasn’t getting a reward. This is because, they have a public relations service in their “matches” section. However, now the app is completely dead, there’s no: surveys, matches, marketplace or anything for that matter. Now this can mean two things: either - they are working heavily on the app and it can’t be operational while they do this “extensive work” or - their business is in trouble they haven’t found the revenue they are hoping for and their going concern isn’t looking too great. Hopefully, it is the latter, although I am a patient person I have to agree with others; this is pretty ridiculous. In the future, this company (or any for that matter) would be better off building their new app from scratch and releasing it separately to the current app. This, in contrast to building upon features on their current app and destroying the experience for their core user base. Sure, building on an app is fine for small changes but not for a transformation like this.
These reviews are harsh, and those who decide to give a fair review are accused of being “friends and family” seriously? I’ve personally had a great experience with the app, have used it since Feb 2017. Have since used the market place twice when it was up and running, got my vouchers fairly quickly. However around fall the platform did run in to issues and the market place has been down, and this is when the public started leaving negative feedback. I am disappointed about the delays but still willing to keep using it as I have high hopes for this app once it is fully up and running again due to past experience. Personally all the negative feedback is unfair, the platform is “free” and you are able to swap vouchers for a few minutes of your time by answering questions daily. Some users do not seem to understand the time it takes to build/run apps as an independent company, and to obtain mass amounts of these vouchers to offer to users. Hope this feedback helps, and I would say give it a proper try. Sincerely, Not a “Friend or family”
