I really enjoy being able to get alerts of local news and the WDBJ news app does that well. I am only giving three stars because recently every time I open an article from the alert a video starts playing at full blast. It is always either an advertisement or something unrelated to the article. I don’t even open to read anymore because if I’m in a public place it is too loud and annoying.

It’s amazing you people care so little about what your viewers want. You can’t tell me you can’t find someone to design this app so it actually works! Then there’s the pop up ads, oh my gosh! What a bunch of morons you must have running your app design and internet department. A few years ago you had a very good app, I could go to settings and select only News stories for my area alone. Now it’s so unorganized it’s aggravating to use it at all. I’ve deleted it and then because I wanted to have local News, I’d go back and reinstall it, but it’s no better than before. You’d think with all the negative reviews you get, you’d fix it, but I guess you don’t read them, because as I said earlier, you don’t care. It’s disappointing that a News station that’s been around as long as you have can’t do any better than this. Enjoy you whopping 2.5 star rating!

I was looking for an email address to respond to story content, since I am not on social media. This app is very helpful, giving good news and weather coverage generally. I am concerned about two stories today re: kitten and puppy abuse. The point of such stories about animal and human abuse should be the punishment. Otherwise, the story just gives criminals bad ideas.
