Allset: Food Pickup & Rewards

The thing that got me back into Allset was the rewards program. I like saving money, so I only use food apps if it is cheaper than ordering in person. Like every other food app, Allset charges taxes and fees with every order (for a $10 order, expect $2 in taxes and fees). The rewards program gives cash back with every order (percentage is based on how frequently you use Allset). It is only worth it if the cash back you get is more than the taxes and fees you are being charged (assuming that the prices themselves are not already marked up, which is something you should look out for). That is the key to getting the most out of Allset. Allset also gives out free credits that can be used on your next order every once in a while, which is a great plus. My only gripe with Allset is that I used to enjoy the highest tier of rewards (30% cash back) but now the highest tier is only 20% cash back. So now I’m saving a lot less money.

Last week there was a promo that states that if I ordered 3 times I’ll get a $30 credit. Well I got the credit but only up to $5 can be use on each other and that pretty much cover the fee only. On top of that this app always has problems with the restaurants. There are many times I placed an order and the restaurant never received my order and ended up having to contact the app customer support and then wait for my foods. Not the most ideal for wanting to just grab and go. One more thing is the default setting on this app is no utensil. If you want utensil you have to request on the check out page. And again not ideal. When I do a take out it means I am not home and I don’t have utensils in my car so there were many instants that I have to go back to the restaurants to ask for utensils hence wasting my time. I understand it’s a startup but it is not better than any existing app like DoorDash or Postmates for pick up. Update: the worst case is when a restaurant confirmed my order. Then I arrived at the restaurant only to find out the restaurant is closed!! All-set system has major flaws!!

It is one of the best app I have ever used. Very easy to use, I believe any type of user will be comfortable with this app. You will find a lot of restaurants and will be able to place a order very easily by using this user friendly app. It will give you a notification during confirmation of your order, preparing your food and it will give you a estimate pick up time after confirmation of your order, even it will give you a reminder after food is ready. This app has a lot of options, if you have allergy in any of food or ingredients, you can mention or if you want to add anything in your food you will also be able to mention during order. It gives reward points with long expire date and give reminder before expiration. My personal experience is really awesome and I am a fan of this app.
