Iโm not one to leave reviews, but in all honesty this game deserves WAY more praise. Iโm a long time RS player, and iโve always been one to want to scratch that more incremental, idle, slow burn grind yet most games of that type lose me after some time. I wanted something more passive than Runescape; easy to pick up and put down throughout the day. This game PERFECTLY blends idle gameplay with rewarding active gameplay, has a clean and easy to learn UI, is satisfying to navigate, not to mention lightweight and battery friendly. The pace is great and iโve enjoyed the few months of time iโve went about it all, and any issues I โhadโ in the early game (like small inventory) was fixed by progression and expanded upon in a genius way. I just hit my first 99 and still have quite a bit of combat to go through, and I already cannot wait for the next runs. The aesthetic and art style is also a big highlight, and content additions even just in my short time have significantly improved quality-of-life and welcomed new things to discover. Please keep adding content and I hope this game gets as much love as it deserves. My official favorite mobile game.
Big lover of RuneScape, but the grind of clicking a single tree for 100 hours is pretty brutal. Melvor idle is good, but somewhat overwhelming and something about it just feels sort of clunky and the artstyle isnโt great. I downloaded this game on a whim, but two days in bought the premium upgrade I was so satisfied. The ui is simple and intuitive, the gameplay loop is addicting, and the art is really well done and consistent. Even without the premium upgrade, thereโs no intrusive ads. You can watch an ad to get the same effect as the premium upgrade (100% offline efficiency vs 50%) or play the game with no ads whatsoever (at least none I encountered). The monetization is very very relaxed and totally optional and out of the way. You can tell the game was made by someone who cares about making a good game and isnโt exclusively trying to make some cash grab, which is EXCEEDINGLY rare in the mobile game space these days. No obnoxious pop ups or constant banner ads is a surefire sign of a passionate developer unwilling to compromise the integrity of the gameplay experience for a quick buck. Iโd highly recommend this game and please support the dev.
Edit: thank you dev for the quick reply! I redownloaded and looked and luckily my game had actually backed up and I didnโt realize when I was looking for my save file after I lost my progress. I loaded it up and Iโm back to where I left off :) I donโt know if the screen freezing glitch was a one time thing or not but Iโll make sure Iโm constantly saving just in case, thank you! Original review: I loved this game as I started but about halfway through my first day of playing I let it idle battling to get some of my levels up, and when I logged back in the game was essentially frozen, where I couldnโt press any buttons. I tried closing and opening the app, restarting my phone, everything. I had to delete and reinstall the app to fix it, which made me lose my progress. I wasnโt very far in but itโs still upsetting and concerns me that it could happen much further in. :,)
