If you need to have this app, you are working for the wrong company! It is truly a company that has no idea what to do when it comes to home healthcare for the elderly. They do not care about the caregivers and do not care about the elderly clients they are “helping”. As a caregiver you will only ever be paid minimum wage with extra hours being hard to get. This app (which you MUST have to be employed by Honor), must be set to the ‘always tracking location’ setting in order to be used. If you do not turn it off after your shift your location WILL BE TRACKED EVERYWHERE even on your days off. It is very creepy and invasive.
Thought it was an April fool ‘s day joke when I read that HomeInstead had sold out to this company. My first thought was that Honor might be the best, based on HomeInstead ‘s core values and beliefs, “To us it is personal”! Honor is a joke, caregivers after orientation are dispatched like Rideshare, worse than that, nothing personal about the care, anyone can go anywhere, provided you will, and most of this care is for elderly, who need to get used to a particular caregiver to give consistent care, build trust and safety. They even pay less than the minimum wage, and expect family to train caregiver in the use of assistive devices.
The designers of this app are brilliant! Makes adding shifts and seeing care notes super easy. When comparing this app to other apps used in the same industry, Honor’s app surpasses them all by miles. Thank you 🙏
