The title says it all. I love this game. It has quickly become a favorite. I love the progression cycle and while it slows a bit as you progress it still feels rewarding. I love this game so much that I bought the thing that removed ads and wow is it a game changer. I’m lucky I started around Black Friday so I could have that discount but even at full price I feel it is a worthy purchase especially since it goes to the dev team to directly support a game I love
This game is fun and unique overall. It has a cool art style with fun characters. It starts out with a story that lasts about 5 minutes and then I haven’t seen anything about it since. The mechanics of the game are simple and easy to follow, but progression hits a sharp incline VERY fast, like within 10 stages of starting the game. The tapping mechanic quickly becomes fairly useless, and there’s really nothing to do when you just sit there and watch the game idle. “Offline” idling builds up your currency, but does not progress your stage, so you’re forced to just stare at the screen. Purchases in this game are insanely expensive, it costs $45 to remove ads which is just flat out ridiculous. Also, removing ads really doesn’t give you that much anyway, you can increase your currency and attack strength, and get 40 free coins (premium currency) a day, and a free chest for hero fragments. The cheapest chest you can buy is 60 coins, and the cheapest amount of coins you can buy is 80 for $5. So a chest costs either $4 or $10 for the 160 coins one. So for $45, you can get 2/3 of the coins required to buy a $4 chest a day… They even have an option to spend $200 on 12,000 coins. I’ve never seen such egregious prices in a game and it’s honestly very off-putting. Just gives the entire game a money-grab feel and it feels like gameplay is so slow just to encourage purchases. I was enjoying this game until I unlocked and opened up the store, it just kind of soured everything for me. If they focused on the game being fun and playable for a long period of time this would be an easy 5/5.
A decent idle game with a fun character set that’s worth a play if you like the setting from “Who needs a hero” . My two chief complaints is that the click part of the game almost immediately becomes useless, like when I’m making 1T per click my idle gains are in the QI range, that would take me a million clicks to equal one second of my idle gain. My other issue is that the pricing in the microtransaction store is simply too much, $25-40 USD just to remove ads from a clicker game doesn’t make any sense to me, the $5 USD gold purchase is also much less efficient than the $10 option, I don’t know if it was a decision that wasn’t throughly thought out or intentionally predatory but either way the pricing for these are well beyond what seems reasonable to me. I would like to support this with money but the price to return isn’t anywhere near what feels comfortable to me
