So, a couple days ago I reached out to hd poker customer service complaining about not having a lot of chips and demanding they give me some or I’d simply delete the app (I was being super unreasonable lol). I sent the email laughing to myself thinking whoever reads it would just ignore my request since you have the option to purchase more chips if you aren’t satisfied with your current amount. Anyways, I was responded to immediately the following day by Zoë, and let me tell you she was an absolute delight! She acknowledged instantly that I’ve been a loyal player on the app and rewarded me with a GENEROUS amount of gifts and chips. All of this from my whiny, unreasonable email asking for more chips while I’ve spent a total of $0 my entire time playing the game. So, 10/10 recommendation to anyone considering downloading the app; they provide a variety of table options, hands are well paced, it is easy to engage with other players at the tables, they offer plenty of cool knick knacks that you can earn from playing or by purchasing for a fair price, and they are certainly a company who takes customer service very seriously! Respect and appreciate what they do and how they handle business! -Trevor H.
I recently downloaded this app, and was instantly hooked. It’s classic Texas Holdem, and if you literally play your cards right it will keep you at the table for quite some time. Besides poker there’s some nice features that come along with it, the chest drops that not only gives you chips (if you win the hand) but fun avatars that you can play as at the table, or even trade them up with people on your friends list, and fun gifts to share with whomever you’re playing with. The ticket wheel can come in handy if your chip stack is getting low, and the gems allow you to purchase boosts, chips, avatars, and tickets! Side note: if you follow any of their social media, they’re always giving out free stuff, but it seems to be time limited, so it’s always worth a quick peek since your phones in your hand anyway. 5/5 stars for gameplay, graphics, content, ranking system. Fun game all around that will keep ya playing.
I will begin by saying the game has awesome graphics and great characters, and options, etc....and when I started it was a lot of fun and I thought it was a great game. It “seems” to me like the game is set up for new players to win a good amount of hands in the beginning which is actually a lot of fun because you build up a good bank balance quickly. But there is a point when that changes and you start seeing a LOT of flushes and straights on every table you play on and it “seems” like it’s practically every other hand....over and over. I quickly realized this is just another game creator “controlling” or “influencing” the game play outcomes which is really no different than most of the other games out there. Im old school, so it’s too much and too obvious when I see soooo many hands with a flush or a straight. So this game got BORING AND REAL OLD, REAL QUICK. Maybe I’m just no fun by wanting my “simulation” games to be at least “somewhat” realistic. Plus, I’m no poker expert, I’m just a novice, so maybe I’m clueless and there REALLY IS a flush or straight every other hand on the poker tables in Vegas? It doesn’t seem like that’s true, but I could be wrong. But MOST likely, Im just OLD and “behind” by believing what I was taught....whenever ANYONE does something that influences or controls the outcome of any game, it is considered CHEATING. But that’s just me, and to be honest, almost every game out there controls or greatly influences game play and they don’t even try to hide it because nobody cares anyway. Which I think is kinda sad.
