This app is a great app for constant and variable accountability for a variety of addictions and mental health conditions. Alcohol, Drugs, Sex, Depression, Anxiety and others. I am very disappointed to learn that, after re-downloading the app, I am unable to login or sign up. Instead an error message pops up that reads “ AN ERROR OCCURRED, we are doing all we can to fix the problem, please try again later”. I rate it 1 star as it has not gotten resolved after multiple days of trying to login/sign up. I hope to be in contact with the developers to fix this issue. Will continue to update this review. UPDATE*** App is fixed and functioning well. 5 stars.
I mostly enjoy this app. It’s helped me find connections with people who struggle with the same things I do. It’s been beneficial in that aspect as well as keeping myself accountable and tracking my sobriety. However, the app itself could use a lot of work. It’s pretty glitchy in that sometimes it won’t let me click on something. It doesn’t seem to work very well with newer iPhones (no Face ID option), and I can’t update my information so my age is outdated. I also wish when I want to comment on someone’s check in that comments would show up for everyone to see rather than send a direct message to the person. I feel like that would give more of a sense of community to the Tribe. I can always message people directly when I want to but just commenting to give encouragement could easily be shown as just a comment. There are some badly needed updates to this app, but the idea behind it is good. They could maybe take some ideas from the way Brain Buddy is set up. That’s another app I’ve used before that had a much better layout.
This app has been helping me stay accountable to myself in more ways than one. As the days go on, I get more and more motivation by looking at the streak get higher and higher as well as from the way I am feeling from conquering this addiction. I love the little question it asks when you're logging a submission, it has really been helpful by allowing me to realize how much progress I have been making. The mini prompt it gives really asks some deep questions pushing me to look within myself and uncovering why it is that I do the things I do and act the way I do. Overall, this app has been amazingly helpful and I HIGHLY recommend it for anyone struggling with an addiction. Remember we only have one life. Do not let an addiction of any sort take control over you whatsoever. Much love.
