Final Outpost

Good game with quite a few bugs. The game is a fun logistics puzzle until you reach the late game. At this point the game wants you to lose. Everything requires scrap in obscene amounts daily. This also happens to be the slowest resource to acquire. Literally half of my base’s 375 people are assigned to get scrap just to refill my ammo pools for each night. Then you upgrade your walls to require scrap instead of stone to repair. Suddenly, your slow ammo production has to compete with your (much faster) wall repairs, and if you’re not careful, the walls will always drain things first, leaving you vulnerable at night. This would be fine if snipers worked properly but there’s some kind of soft cap for how many snipers can shoot at once if you play the game for more than a couple of minutes. If you exit the game at night and then re-open, you’ll notice that the problem fixes itself and suddenly all of your snipers are shooting as expected…until the next night. Just make sure to tap “save and quit” on the bottom right as recently over half of my population disappeared and my stats reset after I tried to fix the sniper issue. The game loves RNG as well and will randomly destroy buildings with lightning or cause hordes to walk within inches of your walls during a red moon. It’s challenging enough to be fun but the bugs can really kill the experience.

First of all I’d like to admit that I’ve spent money on this game, if I didn’t I would’ve rage quit and deleted it. My wall got destroyed, which means you automatically lose (I didn’t know that) but you can pay $.99 to have it restored, which I did. This game is very hard, I can’t lie. You have to balance your food, plus your resources. Each person eats .5 food, which is great BUT! Your meat storage is super low and unlike the rest of the resources, there’s no building you can create to expand it. Which makes it super difficult in the beginning, yes there’s a farm but it is far out in the gameplay. You spend thousands of wood resources to buy storage for wood and restoring the walls (1 wood = 1 health restored to the wall, which is pretty cool can’t lie). Because of this, if you don’t have any money to spend on the game, you’d probably lose many times. I have a recommendation for the team, maybe create a building where hunters can store the meat, maybe add an extra food source for dried meat? Also, maybe add skills to the people, like kills for the hunter that allows them to hunt faster or bring in more kills. Or maybe even a skill that allows some people to eat less or maybe not eat at all a day or so without affecting the camp. There’s so many cool improvements that can be added, and honestly I’m just excited for the future of this game.

Playing it for about a full 24 hours and I beat it needs more game play doesn’t take long and I just flew right thru it at day 100+ and now I’m bored.... I took down pretty much everything to build 20+ farms with 6-7 food shelters.... now insanely bored again. Good for a few days after you beat it you will never die and never run out of food.... check max food 8300 with 20 farms and 500 population I Believe I could let my phone stay on for a year and never have to look at it. Zombie at night are super easy they never get harder and at the end when you get all 6 slots open I just run snipers all across the wall with 12 gunners and 165 knifers believe I over achieved protection details 👌. Mad glitches tho had to restart the app over and over when day came to get my people to move. And also every now and then woodcutters would come back with nothing. I get on the game and wood would disappear or appear. Can’t move your stuff around to make my OCD happy so I got to the point of destroying and placing where I wanted it. Third tier metal is wasted only on snipers. Lvl 5 is the max which makes for a very quick game end. Also can’t tell how much food you make per hour or metal or wood and that annoys me.
