Farm Bay

This game worked until I just ran the update. Now it just crashes and I cannot get into it! Now since I am writing this review…. It would be helpful to have an automatic translator feature in the group chat. The marketplace is a mess and difficult to find what you need. I would recommend changing the marketplace by getting rid of the excessively spaced boxes and replacing it with a line item posting that would allow the poster to add whatever number of a product they wish to sell and allow the buyer the opportunity to just buy what they need. The buyer should be able to search for what they need and the items they searched for should come up from their friends and group members first before other players. Also, the timing of the ships is ridiculous. Ships should be on a 24 hour schedule unless a player finishes early then the next ship should arrive immediately and if a ship is completed by a friend or group member then the player should get the prizes even if the player is not able to send the ship. Other than that this is a fun game.

What is going on with the Halloween event? It’s not supposed to be over yet. Why is there no way to contact the developer? I tapped on app support, which took me to a website with no email address given, only links to Facebook that take me to my news feed, no game like page. (There are 2 like pages that have been inactive since 2019 and 2020)…. There’s supposed to be I think 6 days left on the Halloween events. I have already finished the first one, but the Haunted House is still there for that one... I was working on the second event where you grow pumpkins, and it was there and active when I was in the game from 6am eastern time until I think 11am eastern time October 25, 2023, but going back into the game at 8pm eastern time it’s gone. :( :( :( (however my pumpkins and juice and cookies are still in my inventory)

I’ve been playing this game for a long time. I have enjoyed the neighbors and the regattas. I’ve tried to remember that all games change. It’s with great frustration and disappointment that I am now going to rate this game with one star. The initial changes to the market were frustrating and slowed the play down. Then, the market stopped all together, making players wait an hour for a refresh or spending 5 rubies. I did not enjoy the change and began to play less. The boats and board orders began to be impossible to fill, even with help from neighbors. I stayed with it because my co-op was full of kind people and I still enjoyed the game. Also, it’s ok for me to spend some money on the rubies, when reasonable. However, this current update is garbage. The inability to tap trees is unnecessarily annoying and robs the game of the neighborly vibe. Sending random gifts is not a plus - I just don’t need tomatoes or wheat or eggs. It’s rubbish. Sadly, I now recommend against anyone starting this game. I will be looking for a new farm favorite to play. Hopefully, I can find my neighbors that have already left.
