I’ve been an annual member for several years now. I have a love for FFF over any other box subscription I’ve tried (e.g. Ipsy, Birchbox, stitch fix, etc). Some boxes are amazing with some awesome expensive/unaffordable stuff despite the usual “couldnt care less” items to counteract the good stuff. Meaning- some items are a waste for the customer they’re selling it to. Doesn’t consider allergies, skin types, preferred/not preferred item categories, etc. This Winter Box 2022 was very disappointing. Received less products than usual, opened/ripped boxes, cheap items (a butter holder thats like cheap plastic Tupperware, strong fragranced bath items (migraine trigger; also arrived open- lid screwed off), serums with products/chemicals i can’t use, and just nothing that gives me “winter/holiday” vibes for a winter box. Also, i have tried numerous attempts over the years to change my notification preferences so i can get emails only about box selections (they call it customization), too short of timeframe to submit customizations or they’re quickly out of stock on those items. I used to love to check the box value total and the original cost of each item listed in my box catalogue bc i loved seeing how much i saved which they don’t seem to do anymore. I wish they would stop sending me the wine box & hellofresh cards- I’ve tried doing both plus gave them off to people over the years and all of us just end up throwing them away. The box subscriptions are a great price if you can get your moneys worth for whatever they gave you. But either their products are not worth 1 seasonal box cost, or you cant use half to most items they surprised you with.

This a review for the APP. If I could give negative stars, it would be at least negative 5. I keep seeing the “developer response” and honestly, they just seem to not care. “Please reach out, blah, blah”. I HAVE reached out MANY times. Why even bother to have an app that constantly crashes? I count at least 3-4 crashes before I can read anything on the app. Then I’ll be able to navigate to one more story, before it crashes again. This happens over and over and over. I do NOT have a regular computer to use, and I’m sure I’m not the only person in the world without. I try on Safari with your website, but that too, is a nightmare, especially during the sales. Also, stop promoting an app that is so bad, just fix it, instead of shelling out all the cash for the new commercials, fix the app for your CURRENT customers who have already paid you! I see many other reviews and I get why people are angry, just feel glad I’m not the only one. Been annual for over a year. There is a lot that needs fixing for me to re-up next time. Sad that I just had to get used to my boxes not arriving for a very long time, especially for many products I can literally go out, same day, and pick up at a couple stores, we all know the ones, sometimes for less money and less hassle. Just fix the app. Tired of missing out on things because YOUR app does not work!! UPDATE: Doesn’t seem this rating is being allowed to even go through.

Overall I like FFF a lot. My main complaint of the service as a whole is the loooonnnggg wait from the time that you order the box/customize to when you receive it Regarding the app it works well. I wish that in the shop and edit and add ons there was a place to review and read reviews on products. I find myself looking online to see what people think about the products. I also would like to see a better record of my purchases. You can see your box but I would like to see the add ons and edits with the photos, prices and item descriptions. I don’t love that the clothes were integrated into the add ons. One way to improve that is to have more advanced filters-maybe allow the use to filter out product types rather than allowing them to narrow in on only one product type. The final wish is that there was any easier way to get help and to track your order. Rothy’s has a number you can text which I have found helpful.
