I bought this watch and app for the glucose monitor, hoping I wouldn’t have to continue the lancer method. Even after calibration on the app, the readings are anywhere from 30-50 pts off. It seems the app has a set program that expects that you eat at 8:00, noon, and 5:00 and calibrates to that timeframe. So, it’s not actual, if that’s what you’re looking for. The rest of the programs on the watch seems accurate.
I am an active 82 year old who. Works out 6 days per week. I have had previously a Fitbit sense tracker. After Google bought them out it’s performance went sideways. I depend on my watch to keep me informed of my health. Voila. The Tk10 is far superior and extremely accurate in its calculations. A breath of fresh air one could say. I highly recommend this device for anyone who takes their health seriously. Set up was simple and navigating all the features was a lot of fun. I look forward to many years with this device. Oh by the way, the responses I got when asking a question was simply perfect. Bye one and you will not regret your purchase. Done rambling
This app has its good and bad points. First if you don’t personally adjust certain settings this app is useless. My blood pressure was measuring way too high. Then I went to “device” and tapped it. I went to “personal blood pressure mode” and set it to what I usually get on my cuffed BP monitor. Now it works well. Set my personal glucose reading too. The major problem I am having now is I cannot get any notifications from my iPhone to my watch. I have reset and restarted, went to the apps’ notification menu and checked what I wanted, yet still no notifications. Once this is fixed my 3 star rating goes up to 5. ——- Updated After communicating my notifications issue through “mine”, “faqs” in the app, my notifications worked today. So everything works now. I give the app 5 stars now. I had a heart attack 1 year ago and tried a half dozen fitness watches to help me recover to be able to finish a 10k and half marathon. Have used Amazfit, Polar, and Garmin. My favorite for no nonsense watch for a race is still my Garmin Forerunner 55, but I wanted a watch that didn’t have as much running info for daily and training use. I use this app with a TK70 watch. It is the easiest to use watch/interface of the brands I have used. Not a good app for runners, but it is not supposed to be. Use it with a good runners watch. This combination works for me. I could have bought a Garmin with ecg, but I didn’t want to spend $400.
