Coffee Pool

Love this game and love most of the new features after the recent update but a few things I do not like that affect playability. 1. The few second delay on the next button after finishing a level. It’ll show the button for an ad and extra coins right away but I’ll never push this button. 2. When I push the next button instead of the button for extra coins to watch an ad it’ll still take me to a ad anyway which is lame. I’ll often close the app and reload it to skip the ad when it does this out of spite. 3. Right on the corner’s of the pockets it seems like balls will get stuck if placed in that exact spot. This use to not be a problem and 9 times out of 10 when the ball should be pocketed it gets stuck here, even on full power. 4. The mines are kind of sucky, not too big of a deal but I don’t particularly care for them. 5. I’d like to see a leaderboard for regular ‘story mode’ and ‘daily break’. I’ve been in top 1% for over 200 leagues and wish I could see where exactly I am in that 1% A few things I love: 1. Weekend tournament and 1v1. 2. Cue collection and ability to level up. 3. General gameplay, easy and fun to play once a day after completing my LinkedIn mini games or while taking a dump. It is a daily thing for me and often times I’ll play a couple rounds when I get bored while out and about. 4. Daily break is cool and a fun way to collect more coins if you are good enough All in all good fun and I’ll consider supporting the dev’s in the future if they lower the cost for ad free to $5

As a daily player of Coffee Golf, this was a fun addition to my small collection of daily games. It’s simple on the surface but has a nice variety of challenges. I quickly purchased the IAP to remove ads when it became available, in large part because I want to support the developers, but also because I disliked the ads. Unfortunately, the ads are still happening. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the game, restarting my iPhone, and I’ve tapped the ‘Restore Purchases’ button dozens of times to no avail. I do have a receipt from Apple/App Store confirming the IAP and the option to purchase this IAP is gone from the app. But the ads are still happening. I emailed Shallot support about this on August 24 and have yet to hear back as of September 2. I really want to support this developer, but it’s harder to do so when the purpose of the IAP isn’t fulfilled and their support email address, as found when tapping the App Support button/link on this App Store listing, isn’t leading to a response. I figured “Coffee Pool - Remove Ads issue” was a succinct but clear enough subject line. If I had known this would be such an issue, I probably would’ve just avoided the purchase altogether. Super disappointed at the moment.

A nice and simple “start & play” format with relaxing optics - similar to other Shallot “Coffee Games”. I play Coffee Golf and was not sure if this would be the same play, different visual field. I was pleasantly surprised! I never really played pool and found this game has me focusing and learning about angling for direct and banking shots. The provided guidelines are a wonderful teacher! Loving the simplicity of these games - perfect for quick “brain breaks” in my day!
