Awesome game. Love it! I really like the different mix of game genre too. It’s very subtle but it reminds me a little bit of monopoly and rogue like game style. The updates have been great. A lot has been added to make it pretty fun. I really like the fishing mini game. Free to play with very limited ads is really good (limited meaning only bonus ads). It’s always annoying when ads just pop up randomly not expecting them to. This game does NOT have that. I haven’t had to purchase anything and I don’t feel forced to purchase anything either. But I probably will eventually. Oh and the pixel art graphics are very nice. It’s got a great music soundtrack and fun sound FX. I do have 1 gripe about something though. I finally tried the mini game, relic drop. A “Plinko” like mini game. Not very good. You can’t choose where to drop the balls from? Really? I understand it isn’t Plinko but the reason it really bugs me is cos the way the pegs are laid on the board. Almost seems intentional to limit your point hits. A ball rarely ever hits near the middle baskets at the bottom. I dropped like 600 balls in one run and I got A middle basket twice maybe. And I don’t remember hitting the highest point basket once. I mean seriously, have the developers ever even played Plinko? Sigh, stupid mini game… But this whole game (the rest of it) is a lot of fun, despite the horrible “Plinko” clone like mini game. Still giving it 5 stars since the mini game isn’t the actual game.
Saw an ad for this, wasn’t expecting much but had me curious, turned out to not only be the game it advertised, but is a very unique and fun roguelike! Only been playing for 3-4 hours so far so I’m not sure if the late game ends up being pay to win, but as of now the game has been quite generous with its free to play rewards for winning runs. and even good rewards if you lose a run. There’s also an anniversary event going on currently which is cool. Also wanted to say this to the devs specifically, it’s a bit confusing when it ends though as it has one timer which says 3 days and another which says 10 days. And due to that I’m a bit worried I may have wasted my money on the birthday pass thing as I thought it was 10 days remaining on the event, but the actual pass seems to say 3 days, so that is a bit of a bummer, again to the devs I’m hoping you guys extend the pass to last as long as the 10 day timer, as I would be more incentivized to purchase things in the future if my money was well spent ya know? 🔅🔆🔅 Anyways, it’s a really fun game, give it a try if you’re looking for something fun to play and are bored of the typical App Store games, as if i bet there’s many people like myself who’ve been wanting a new mobile comfort game for a while now and can’t seem to find one that clicks and doesn’t get old fast.
I never write reviews on mobile games. In fact this is probably the first review I’ve made. That’s just how good this game is. Everything is perfect. The music is amazing I just wish there were more tracks to make it not feel so repetitive. And the little mini games are super fun. I hope for more. And the designs of the bosses and items are super cool looking. Also hoping for more bosses. MAJOR note. There are no forced ads. All ads are completely optional and that’s amazing. We all know how hard that is to find now. And in app purchases are not necessary to be able to play. You can easily play and win while 100% free to play. That said the prices seem super fair so it doesn’t feel like a scam if you do choose to buy stuff. Overall this game is a must have to kill time and actually have an enjoyable game to come back to on your phone. I 1000% recommend you at least give it a try. Now if I had to make one critique, it would be that once you start a level you are not able to stop and pick up where you left off later. Sometimes I want to start a new level but don’t have enough time to play through the whole thing. So I would like a way to pause a run to finish later. That’s all! See you there!
