This game is so much fun and so cool. I love the design of everything. My only problem is how ridiculously hard level 4 is. With the previous levels yeah it’s was a little hard but you it was still beatable. But for level 4 it just feels like you have no chance. By the time you reach floor 8 the whole map is covered in the Orcs minions bosses and why do more red cards get spit out every time I reach the start? Like give me a chance dude. Idk maybe I’m just unlucky but I feel like you gotta be the luckiest mfer out there to beat that level. Very fun game tho otherwise.

I absolutely love this game. It’s fun, engaging, and simple, but success feels very rewarding. I love that the shopkeeper npc Deoksoon interacts with you and as you play more consistently she warms up to you, it’s a fun and unique idea for mobile games. The only thing is that I wish it was playable fully offline, it seems like it would be, but it still requires internet to operate. Plus, it can be really frustrating when you first start a floor and don’t have any equipment, so you miss every single attack and a single monster gets you down to half health in the first encounter. It’d be nice to start with all level 1 gear, so you don’t instantly get screwed over. But otherwise, it’s an extremely fun rogue-like, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone else!

This game has visual style in spades, and the overall loop has a lot of promise, but I just don’t think it’s there yet.
Pros:
-Great music, and the board game visual transitions are VERY smooth.
- Games take about 10 minutes and you can speed it up with an ad. Great for short play sessions.
Cons:
- Potions quickly become useless unless you heavily invest in them. Your health quickly outscales their healing, even with upgrades.
- The racing minigame has a very low chance of being completed. You need to jump 30 spaces in 3 dice rolls, meaning each roll needs to be two fives or higher.
- The meta progression is pretty unsatisfying. Upgrades are costly but feel insignificantly. Four defense upgrades lets you start with ONE additional defense point when you usually go up to 12-13 naturally.
- Getting legendary or mythic equipment early on feels bad since you’ll usually discard it for a common equipment in a few rounds. A way to level up your current equipment would be nice.
- The starting tickets are all pretty underwhelming, even with an upgrade.
A lot of it is just numbers and some missing features. I hope this game fulfills its potential, because it’s a great concept.
