Once set up it is a wonderful tool to stay up to date with your medical expeensives. It has become a necessity for me!

While the functionality hasn’t changed much, the one thing that is truly vexing about this App is the fact that you can not upload a receipt right away. In fact, initially the entry looks like it is “good” but a few days later is when a warning will appear that asks for “further documentation.” Why not allow receipts to be uploaded as soon as the charge gets into the system, when you have the receipt actually in-hand.

I was looking forward to submitting my receipts by taking a picture on my phone. Downloaded the app, was able to login OK. I was able to find the claim and click the button to submit a receipt and the app immediately threw me out. Logged in again, went through the steps. I took a picture but I have two receipts. I don’t see how you can submit a second photo. I then tried to search for the claim and it has disappeared. I used both a date range and the exact dollar amount to search and nothing shows up on the “list.” I’m already disappointed with Careflex. I’m now going to go online and see if I have better success submitting with a scanned document— more time consuming. What a shame. Was really looking forward to the faster claim substantiation. Our company just chose careflex over another FSA/HRA administrator. I thought Careflex was going to be a better company, but we’re already off to a bad start.
