Camfrog: Live Video Chat Rooms

I had been using the iOS version of Camfrog with my M2 Mac Mini and a Logitech web cam no problem up until the Sonoma upgrade. Web cams no longer connect. I have tried three different web cams, all of which work fine with various Mac apps, but none can be granted access in Settings in Sonoma. The Camfrog app is listed in Settings>Privacy>Camera and can be toggled, but the cam is not recognized in the Camfrog app. I hope this can be addressed soon.

This app is horrible! Illegal criminal activity is going on this application. Lots of racism, hate crimes, people are exposing personal information of users, pedophiles talking to minors and having sexual activity with them. This app is very dangerous so please be very careful what you say or what you give out to people because these people are not your friends they are enemies and they will do everything they can to be mean to you or bully you or harass you or take any information you’ve given them and spread it to other users in the room. I’m a witness I’ve seen a lot of bad things happen on this program and I want no part of it so I am leaving the program and giving this program a one star because there is no moderators to stop all the hate crime and the evil wickedness for some of the users that need to be highly monitored for a legal activity. Hopefully somebody turns this program to the FBI and they investigate because this program needs to be shut down or else policies and moderators need to be more aware and monitor the program.

Deleted my pro version with an update, i emailed to help desk which wanted more info every time They responded, then they stopped responding. Called Apple to let them know, but they are an outside vendor so Apple can not make them respond or take care of the complaint. Be aware they only care about money. I guess the best way to get rid of a lifetime purchase is to delete the app, how convenient for camfrog, now they want me to pay again. Apologies don’t help, taking care of the customer does, but camfrog developers just like scamming. Response: "I'm sorry you are running into difficulties. Please submit a new ticket and we will work with you. However, if you are emailing in regards to the .99cent pro Apple - that app is discontinued. You may view your pro, extreme, and gold options on the website or within the current app. Thank you." Now at least we know what a lifetime purchase means to these devlopers, its until we decide to delete that version. . The worst part is the many purchasers like me that thought lifetime meant lifetime, got told we were using am illegal version that we would be procecuted. Now the developers Offer no other option but buy again, I don’t think so, fool me once is enough. Disgusting ploy. Note the response above: it’s a canned response with no option but rebuy, this app’s developers word is not very convincing as again no reason wht LIFETIME pro was taken away from multple people over the years just to get rid of us. Using a refresh of the software is so dishonest, I will not respond until they provide what I purchased. Now after calling Apple they send the same canned response, buy again, this is a joke company, simply they do not keep their word.
