Broken Yolk Cafe

We have been trying to find the perfect breakfast spot and today we found it. From the moment we entered the restaurant we got great vibes. The menu has an incredible selection. My husband ordered the Moms omelette. It was stuffed Not a flat omelette with just a few bits of onions and peppers. I ordered the Monte Cristo. Omg “ died and went to heaven “. One of our issues we have almost every other place we go is they don’t have FRESH OJ but not here. I also love heavy pouring cream with my coffee and they actually had that too. Not only did our server who was extremely busy hunt down the cream but brought me a new cup of hot coffee when he found it. Michael was outstanding and very attentive besides having an outgoing personality. After we had finished our meal the General manager Savanah came by our table and was extremely pleasant. We have definitely found our go to breakfast spot. Thank you.

This place is the best! The manager Paul does a great job. He is friendly and totally involved! Whether it’s to help bring out food, give the servers a helping hand, or just to come by and see how you’re doing and to say hi with a smile. His employees seem very happy and they all work together wonderfully. The food we can always count on to be perfect and they’re fast! Oscar, Christian and Andrea are our favorite servers and always go beyond to insure you’re doing fine and help with whatever you need! We are happy to see them when we walk in, all are friendly and great! Keep up the great teamwork! We drive there for the atmosphere and friendly staff even though we have a location closer to our home. We have never had any problem or issue there! Food is always done perfect. Great job to you all!

My husband and I have been visiting the numerous breakfast spots which are opening near us. Or karat stop was at The Broken Yolk on Saint Rose Parkway in Henderson, NV. We were surprised to find a full parking lot, which was a good sign, because as I recall only one or two other businesses were open. Inside was bustling, however we were warmly greeted and seated right away. My husband noted that they had a full working staff, which we have found not to be common in many new restaurants, post pandemic. We had the good fortune of being seated at Mr. T's table. T is very young, energetics, personable, and delightful. The fact that we are all from the California Bay Area, endeared him to us even more. I ordered chicken and waffles. There were three pieces of very tasty fried chicken, with just the right amount of crispness. The waffle was slightly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, just as I ordered. My husband enjoyed his sausage, eggs, blueberry muffin, and potatoes and commented that the coffee was great. We could not believe how quickly our orders arrived. We also liked the fact that you could pay right at the table without your card being taken away. We will definitely be returning and bringing friends here for breakfast. The only downer is that Mr. T will be leaving this neighborhood location to open another Boken Yolk in Vegas😟 But our loss is their gain!
