Update feb 2024- second time using app so I had to reinstall it in line at the store. (Uninstalling apps is always faster than setting notifications on spammy-by-default one time use apps.) There is no anonymous guest checkout and it’s been too long to remember this one-off app account credentials. It is faster to order in person than to recover password or create a new account and redo all payment info. Deleted app. Enjoyed fast in person checkout. Subtracting star. Things to fix. 1/ add single sign on with google/apple or just support anonymous guests. 2/ Apple Pay Original review. The app menu was clear and well organized. The app is snappy and appears error free. The workflow made it quick and easy to find items, put them in the cart and go to check out. However, there is no Apple Pay, so I dropped out of the flow and ordered somewhere else. It’s confusing to have an Apple app in 2023 that requires sharing in my credit card number and CVV. Otherwise I’d rate this a 5/5. If there exists an option for Apple Pay, the app should display this at checkout. Perhaps, if it’s only an option if you link your Apple ID with your Rubio log in, then the app should say so on the payment screen.
My app was hacked today and because I have a CC on file the hacker created a huge delivery order. Luckily my bank sent me an sms alert on the transaction and I was able to call the store manager and stop the order. Took me a minute to even get into the app to remove the card on file since I was going through forget password and never receiving the password reset link. Finally realized the app login was through Apple and was able to login that way and remove the card on file. My phone # is incorrect and not able to change it. There needs to be better security though, not sure how they infiltrated through Apple login and we’re able to create an order without any confirmation of the card being used (enter cvv or something). Just wanted to drop this here so the developer can fix this issue. Enjoy using this app and ordering but if I have to reenter a CC each time it becomes cumbersome on the go.
Meal today was fresh & very good. This was my mom’s first time & she was impressed. The cashiers were friendly & everything was clean. I appreciate that there was a one way entry into the building & one way entry through the exit because of COVID. The tables were spaced out like it’s suppose to be. The salsa bar was closed but they have prefilled containers behind the counter-just ask for them. I also really appreciate that they are still honoring free refills in drinks. I know that there are some restaurants no longer doing this so I am glad that they are doing this here. Thank you very much for a wonderful meal.
