I downloaded this app because I’ve struggled keeping myself in a healthy routine. Mental health has taken a toll on me and it’s been hard, slowly I’ve lost my confidence and I’ve been trying to find encouragement to constantly exercise and stay active to combat my slump through apps. I’ve already gone through about 10 apps, but none of them really worked…. But then! I ended up finding this app through an ad on my Instagram and though I was doubtful at first, I decided to try it out and I am so glad that I did! Breezer is paying off immediately and I have hope again and that’s because it looks like something that I can genuinely stick to. The mechanics have clearly been thought out thoroughly and with each game mechanism you can see the endless amount of care and attention to detail made! Breezer is giving me motivation and I can’t express my gratitude to the fantastic developers who are very proactive in their game community and offer so much support! I take my word seriously and give it to you when I say Breezer is most definitely an app you should try because it’s so fantastic! Much love to the devs <3
I was looking for an app that incentivized calorie burning, so that I’d feel more motivated to meet my exercise goals. I downloaded 3 apps including this one. As a lover of games like The Sims and Animal Crossing, this app held my attention the most. I also enjoy making pixel art, so being able to do so and that also being incentivized made me enjoy the app more. I also like that I can interact with my husband on the app, as we are both using it as a weight loss tool. At this point, even if the game weren’t free anymore, as long as the price is reasonable, I’d pay. I use it every day. That being said, the app is not perfect. As others have mentioned, there are occasional bugs. There also isn’t a wide selection of items made by Breezer. This wouldn’t be a problem if they didn’t also have the rule that player-made items must look distinctly different from Breezer-made items. This problem has 0 impact on my ability to enjoy this game though, as my priority is making my calorie goals immediately tangible so that I don’t lose interest in my goals. I don’t need to spend a ton of time customizing in this game. That would just distract me and keep me from exercising. Plus, I have other video games for that.
I love this app. I love the creativity and the (until now) egalitarian nature of the competitions. I do not like the chocolates thing. A paid option is totally fine and I like the idea of extra kinds of stores, but keep them decorative like the cat so that we all still have the same chances, free or not. Same thing with skipping the wait times. And what's with halving the return value of items?? I was hoping for an update that fixed bugs, not this :( Also, there's a bug on the entry/calorie refresh screen where the text pushes the "done" button off the screen, so I have to keep closing & restarting it until I get one where I can press it. I put in a bug report about it like last week I think? I just figured I'd put it in the review in case this gets seen first!
