Bloxels: Build Your Own Games

Hi! I’ve been doing Bloxels across four accounts over the years and even had the old school physical edition back when Poultry Panic was a thing. I guess you can say I love this app. However, I do have some requests for quality-of-life improvements (I’m a game dev in the making, so I’m always thinking on how to make something better). I thought I’d share my ideas just in case you’re seeing this. First, I think it would be cool if you could edit the color of the character’s projectiles (Example: You can edit the character to shoot green fireballs instead of orange). Also, adding an attack animation would be great alongside the idle, walk, jump, and fall. This could be activated when you use the A button to use a projectile or throw an orange block. Finally, adding a punch as a third attack option alongside jump and shoot would be awesome, and a chance to let the attack animation shine. Perhaps when you press the A button to punch it would knock back an enemy a little bit (so that way it doesn’t keep walking into you). Again, these are just ideas that could help make a wider variety of games, so if you happen to see this, keep it in mind. Again, love the game, and I hope we have more major updates in the future. I bought an account about 5 months ago. My two accounts are j3i and Racksdobloxels. They have amassed over 60 something followers in that time, 2 featured games , and over 60k plays to my name. If anybody can give there expert opinion on this amazing game, it’s me, and all of the other semi-popular creators out there. (Who are some of the only people if this games community over 6 years old.) this games builder is amazing, it’s incredibly optimized, even my crappy 11 year old laptop can run every feature of this game at 120+ fps. My pc can Normally sit around 460 fps when using the online bloxels website. The ui very well fits the overall theme of bloxels, building games feels smooth and satisfying, animation, texture building, and background creation somehow manage to never let me down, in terms of both entertainment and convenience. The system used to make games are very universally accessible to people of ALL ages. The subscription is extremely cheap. This game is horribly unpopular, if the game just gained a little more traction I’m sure it would be comparable to other community run games like geometry dash in terms of popularity. Honestly I have no words strong enough to describe the magnitude of the opportunity that this game has offered me. And that is the note where I’m going to end this rating, if bloxels edu keeps getting updated, and starts getting the love it deserves… they will make it big. End of story, keep it up bloxels, because I will be rooting for you the whole way

I was gonna make a good game since I bought the monthly pass and was making great progress too, but when I was making an area this message pops up when I tried to test the level or leave the game editor to save, “oh no! We cannot reach our servers, something is in the way. This is most likely a firewall issue. Please visit our webpage about Firewalls for more information” and then it loses my progress I tried to save, so when I got to the point when it shows the message again I checked my connection and it is CONNECTED and at the point where I just place/replace a block and save/test it gives me the error message! This is most likely a problem on your side and may need to improve it, and if you suggested the lean more option I am afraid that won’t happen because the links I tried to go to google said, “Your connection is not private Attackers might be trying to steal your information from {the link I tried to enter} (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards.)” So I am just asking you that PLEASE, fix this so I am able to continue building because my connection is already great enough to build, overall a great game but still PLEASE fix this.
