I am a huge fan of 51% Games from their previous game SpinBreak, but BingBing Knights could not have disappointed me more. I sunk about 50 hours into the game holding out hope that it would improve out of faith in the developer, but every hour seemed to disappoint me further. It feels like every single page of the UI is another prompt to spend money, you are unable to fully use your own weapons without buying battle passes (of which there are at least four), a power up costs money to use once you attain and use it, and even the weapon you get when you upgrade is randomized and there is a good chance you will end up with a weapon that is useless without its stronger form - which can be attained with gems (a free but rare currency), but if you do not have enough you will be soft-locked and forced to either spend money or tens of hours grinding your way out of the pit poor RNG put you in. I will say that the game has few forced ads, with you rarely encountering one when you first open the game. However, I found more enjoyment waiting for ads to finish than I did actually playing the game.
