Zombastic: Time to Survive

The game has been fun but it’s gotten to where I can’t progress any further due to the lack of upgrades available. The enemies get too strong and then it’s impossible to upgrade items to match their damage/health. Maybe if you could replay prior levels on a different difficulty, to get more powerful items, it would resolve the issue? Then there aren’t enough chip and pet upgrades available and there needs to be the ability to reset heroes, because of limited tokens available. I’m not sure why they don’t let you earn diamond puzzle pieces through gameplay. If fixes are made, the game would be a lot more fun.

I love this game, it has gotten alittle blah as i am at the point where the levels are unbeatable and leveling up equipment takes so much time. The armory is kinda useless at this point, there are few ways to unlock weapons and mostly i get duplicates. The 1.7.0 update says 2 new locations. Maybe they are at end of campaign the one i cant even advance through, but i still have 5 locked locations saying coming in future updates. I want to play more but when i lose every time i play a level kinda defeats the aspect of progression gameplay.

Game play is smooth and the graphics are nice. I’m on lvl 16 and I’ve seen the same bosses and adds multiple times on previous levels. There is a whole section for new bonus weapons you can craft. But after playing for several days/weeks I still haven’t found enough parts to complete one. The primary weapons only seem to be a few variants of a pistol (poison, freeze, revolver, burst) that you have to reload and depending on which variant you have, the reload speed can get you killed. The dog boss MUST be tweaked! After he digs under ground 9/10 you will get hit even if you continue to run away. My biggest issue is with equipment. You don’t really get any bonus until you get purple. And with that it’s only a 5% stat boost. You’ll have to get all the way up to gold before you see any significant value. And at the pace this has been going so far seems like it will likely take a month or several hours a day to perform enough merges to get to that point. I hope there is an update to fine tune/correct some of these issues. I’ve already spent $10 on this game, but not shelling out any more if this is just going to be a “pay for progress” type of thing
