Between Us - Detective Story

Edit* Wish there wasn't fake reviews on here. Developers hadn't made any comments about the future of the game until recently. When it's been almost a whole year with no response on updates it's common to believe it was forgotten about 🩷 It's very interesting and I'm intrigued by the story. I enjoyed playing it, but there's no sign that it's being developed any further. Not only that, but there's hardly any up to date information on the app in general. A Google search barely brings it up without typing its whole name and specifying "game" or "app". There's no way to follow the progress or anything so. I fear it's just a waste of data. Worth it for the time I played though.

I love this game and really hope the developers are still working on further updates. The story is interesting and I am a big fan of this style of game in general. I am left in suspense and eagerly awaiting the next episode!

I wish people wouldn’t rate such a great and immersive game so low, simply because they believe the developers “forgot about it.” No, making games like these which involve multiple characters, different choices, different outcomes, etc. - all takes a tremendous amount of time, work, and money. If the developers just released it all as quickly as possible, people would hate the game. And you’re not making it more popular by giving it two stars, even though you loved playing it. I had a blast playing the first chapter, and cannot wait to see what’s in store for the next chapter in 2026. I’d only suggest allowing more responses for the MC/detective, as sometimes I’ve been forced into saying something that I’d never say. I know to allow more options requires more branching, more coding, more time… but if that’s not an option, then perhaps you could allow “say nothing” so that at the very least, your character can stay neutral. Five very deserving stars! I’d definitely pay for additional content and features. You guys need to make money somehow, and you deserve to when you have a game a lot of people enjoy. I just hope more people review or at least rate, so that more people will play!
