Assemble: Legendary Randomizer

This is a great resource for Marvel Legendary! It supposedly has ads but I never saw one because I knew this was worth paying for to support the developer(s). I didn't know this existed until a friend told me about it and I now I will never play without it again. Even if you don't use the randomizer function, just having a reference for all keywords is fantastic and it means that I don't have to carry the miriad of rules sheets or try to search through them to figure out what something does. I do have two caveats, that would make this app perfect. A. I think there should be a feature/option to force the heroes to share a team. A decent number heroes are completely worthless if they don't share their respective team symbols. Granted this could be fixed with a house rule that all hero's share a symbol but that kinda feels like cheating. B. This app NEEDS the ability to save which expansions I own so if I do wish to mess around with options I could easily revert back to my personal defaults with little fuss. The first feature would be nice but I think the second option is necessary to make this a 5 star app.

This is a free app that works well as a free app, it doesn’t get in they way, and isn’t annoying. But I decided to pay for this simply for the level of support. The interface hasn’t changed much but new expansions are always added quickly. My main use of this app is the keywords option. I don’t even bother looking throughly the different instructions anymore. As a randomized it works well enough. It doesn’t have a lot of customizable options (such as hero class or attack/recruit thresholds or keywords), and I don’t blame them for that. You can narrow down expansions or teams and get a quick setup. Want to keep some of the setup, lock the ones you want to keep and randomize the rest again. All around a great app for Legendary players.

I really love this. We have both base games and most of the expansions. We’re awaiting the arrival of a Phase 1 base set at which point our collection will easily exceed 3,500 cards. This makes choosing between everything SO much easier as it felt all but impossible before. The only thing I would find more useful is more control over certain aspects I know I want to begin with. I’d like to be able to choose a scheme or Mastermind or something and have everything set up around that. I’d also like an easier way to control the saved setup files. Other than that, this is perfect and I see us using it for a very long time.
