The Title is Developing Nicely

tl;dr for the below — this roguelike is worth trying out for at least session or two, and may well continue improving. While the patch notes list some extra biomes, the real enhancement for this version are semi-distinct classes and spells/techniques that both you and the enemies can use. I still think the difficulty level could use a buff (I only felt at some risk of death once near the start of the run, then had an easy time beyond that point.) and hope that merchants will make an appearance, so we have something to spend the accumulated coin on. Two issues I noticed come in with this version: The player can evade at least the ‘field dress’ skill, getting no healing from the spent MP; I suggest implementing the RPG standard of not resisting positive effects. (Save possibly a future otherwise powerful piece of equipment which also does that on purpose. >:D ) The expanded view area is difficult to view for us phone users. Would a toggle between that and the older tighter view be possible?

It’s free and no ads but that’s about it.

I made it to level 21 off what is called misty dungeon. I thought there would be more but it’s the only dungeon I’ve played so I’m guessing that’s all there is. It does have random map generation, but it’s a bit slow and your never going to worry about death. I never lost more than one hundred HP while having a few hundred total. Sometimes free is what you get, someone honestly learning how to program, as that is how it feels. The only thing is sometimes the game freezes for a few seconds upon tapping menu buttons, right after doing something. I’m unsure what it is that does this but I ran into several instances of trying to move my character after checking my inventory and he won’t move until I click around in the menu again a couple of times.

Excited to try this, but a screen rotation bug is stopping me playing

I installed this based on the fact that it had a single review - I figured that the game developer could use some beta testing, plus it looks cool in an old 8bit way. Upon loading the screen displays upside down when using an iPad with magic keyboard (landscape orientation with front camer and lock button top left). Can’t get the screen to auto-rotate and fix itself, and I’m not prepared to take the iPad out of the keyboard which is also the stand and protector, so I’m hoping there will be a fix for this so I can play. Tried leaving feedback on the app support page, but comments don’t display so I’m leaving a review here to highlight this. Hoping the developer can fix it and upload an update.
