Anatomy Trains

Tom does such a great job of teaching anatomy and all things related to the body. He doesn’t just state facts, he explains the story of the body in a borderline poetic fashion. I enjoy how he includes evolution and embryonic components to explain why the human body functions the way it does. I find myself watching these videos not just for the educational value, but for entertainment because of the way tom approaches his lectures. I’ll probably never get the chance to purchase the in person lectures or discussions, but for $24, it feels like I have so much information at my fingertips is borderline overwhelming!

The explanations about anatomy are incredibly helpful to me as a yoga teacher. I wish there was more content about stretching and less about dissections and manual therapy (though I know that is the purpose of the app. I doubt I will re-subscribe because so much of it is not applicable to me. I wish there were an option to subscribe just to the parts I use most (anatomy and stretching, exercise videos). Great stuff though!

I have taken many courses with Tom all over the world, including multiple dissections. This is the app I never knew I needed! I’m so thankful for this compiled information. It is life changing to have access to this information at any time. My increased screen time is going to be an issue now 😅
