Altitude wants us to move our service from Comcast Xfinity to DirecTV Stream or any other provider who pays Altitude, but then doesn’t provide any update on the app to allow us to log in with our paid DirecTV Stream account. I tried DirecTV login, doesn't work. If they cared about the subscriber experience or getting to streaming, they’d invest in improving the 1-star experience, but apparently not. The DirecTV Stream app is pretty great most days, but I was hoping for a lower-bandwidth way to catch the game while on a plane tonight.
Don’t try watching Avalanche games on this app. If you liked watching hockey in 1970 you’ll love it but for those of you wanting to watch in high definition, look somewhere else. The quality is so bad it’s like playing nhl 2001 on PlayStation. You can’t even tell which player is which. It’s almost 2024 and these idiots can’t make a good streaming platform. Don’t waste your time.
This app is truly pathetic in its ability to reliably stream sports games. Every time I simply leave the app for any reason whatsoever, it will not simply allow me to re-begin streaming. I have had to log out of my account and back in every time, simply to re-access the streaming link.
