Almost Fun SAT

This is an app clearly designed by cultured (and very talented) people. the interface is amazing, and the lessons are up to date and very well explained… BUT the key thing abt this app is the questions. I get bored with normal sat study, but when asked abt kendrick lamar quotes and parks and rec questions become a lot easier, enabling me to build my confidence with concepts. cannot think of a single thing to complain abt, maybe that i didn’t find it sooner. test score has already risen 100 points (1400) so it’s working so far

I…. Needed this app. I kinda… gave up, in high school. I’m smart enough, but I definitely didn’t do the grind to get a good score on the sat, not enough to get into college, for sure. When I took the practice test, I got 5/20 of the math questions correct… aka the statistical probability of guessing. This app tho— saved me. Taught me in super fun ways. I walk away with 1130, nothing special, but a passing score to get into college and a lot better than. It would have been.

I absolutely NEVER write reviews, but this app is just an absolute lifesaver. I have the SAT’s in two weeks and I was struggling so much with other programs like khan academy because it felt like they never really explained things well, and never showed how they got from point A to B. With this app, it really goes in depth and tells you each and every step to the question if you don’t get it right. As someone who also struggles with ADHD, this app actually helps keep me engaged with their hilarious scenarios for word problems and their reading material that incorporates TV shows, novels, and current events. They also break up each topic like math and reading, vocab, etc. into easily digestible lessons for each subject of the topic which makes things much less overwhelming. I can’t tell you how much I love this app, I would highly recommend especially if you have issues with a short attention span.
