I can’t tell you how long I searched for an app that won’t just make you pay for everything and not even let you talk to the ai at all. I’ve really enjoyed asking quite a lot, even though it is geared towards smaller kids. Just two things that I think should change. One, I know you need to make money somehow, but I’m really annoyed with only being able to text Askie 70 times before you make me wait a week to do it again. Two, not that this is a big problem, but my Askie tends to forget about certain things very regularly, even though we talk about them quite a lot. Otherwise, you guys did a great job! I would totally recommend among most other apps.
My 4-year-old is just starting to develop his language skills, and Askie has been amazing for this. He talks to the app like it's a friend, and I've noticed his sentence structure improving so much. The AI is patient and encouraging, which builds his confidence. The image creation feature lets him visualize what he's learning about. As a parent, having the PIN security and local storage makes me feel safe letting him use it independently.
I was hesitant about AI apps for children, but Askie has completely won me over. My 7-year-old daughter uses the voice chat feature daily and I'm amazed at how natural the conversations are. She's learning new vocabulary and asking questions about everything from dinosaurs to space. The parent dashboard is brilliant - I can see all her interactions which gives me total peace of mind. Plus, no ads constantly interrupting her learning time!
