A&D Connect

The app feels like it’s their 1st one. So much guess work. I figured out after trial and error you have to register each person in their own app and set the scale to their own P# before attempting to pair otherwise the recording is rejected if say P2 is set on the scale but you paired your app to P1. Only way to change this is to re-pair while the desired P# is set on the scale. I guess it’s a good way to keep other people’s weights out but not explained at all during set up. Why can’t it all be done on one app Vs having everyone download their own app to make things work correctly? Other companies like Vicks w thermometer readings have already mastered multiple profiles type set up in one account. Shame that in 2019 these A&D guys can’t get it right.

First of all while it paired all right, once i pushed button on back, there is no way to know which device it is in your bluetooth list. The number absolutely does not correspond to any number on the device. Then if your scale is set on kg not pounds you have to remove and replace batteries in order to change the measurement units so they correspond to units on app. This procedure is not indicated anywhere. i removed and reinstalled the batteries only out of complete frustration. Not easy to switch users either. The only user of scale, i am stuck at user 2 because that’s what the scale insisted on, giving me error messages otherwise . The app menu does not provide all that the Tips claim it does (not in IOs at any rate) and usually when i tap on one item in menu a different item opens The settings menu is nearly empty except for the ability to switch to manual measurements — no other setting change is even offered. This app is the most unintuitive and user UNfriendly app i have ever installed and i have installed hundreds! About the scale itself, and accuracy i cannot judge as i never used it till now though i bought it a year ago or more. I had no idea connection and using it would be so difficult!

As the other reviewer said: "the app does the bare minimum ". It's unacceptable to have an app like this in 2019, specially when all your products really on it. It took me hours to figure out how to use/pair the app with the wireless scale. Luckily I discovered that I was a wrong app with similar name by A&D and even after it was troublesome, it's not intuitive! Pay attention on the units you are using because it won't sync at all if they are different in the scale / app. Additionally, the app is locked out in the US App Store. It should be published worldwide for obvious reasons. In the end we made it work, so I guess it deserves some credit. Hopefully it will improve in the future
