8-Bit Jump

This trash is a rip-off of super mario

Tough game to learn controls to. But thats the fun of it. Seems to only have one level? Coulda had more potential on that one. I play it alot.

When I first saw this app, I thought the doodle-jump-like gameplay and the 8-bit style would make this a fun and entertaining game. As soon as it finished downloading and I started playing, I knew my initial impression was wrong. First off, the graphics don't really add any charm to the game. The "pixellated" look looks like a kid attempting to make an 8-bit game. There are varying pixel sizes, which can make it look messy, and it kind of annoys me at the lazy design. Another bad thing graphics-wise is that the sprites are boring and repetitive, and the characters have horrible animations, if they even have any. My main complaint about this game is the sound, though. It has no music at all, and about ten sounds of atari 2600 (which is 4-bit, not 8-bit) quality. This just makes the game even more boring and un-unique. Overall, this game defines lazy design, horrible sound and a terrible game. Unless you're a n00b at gaming, you won't like this. Don't download it.
