Wisey: Habit Builder

So I tried this app and found out IMMEDIATELY it was hot garbage , so I went in and thought it was cancelled. Now the confusing part was the big bold items were to stay subscribed and the smaller was to cancel. You have to go through about 10 of those are you sure you want to cancel items. THEN there is 45 freaking dollars for ebooks? !! No thanks . Well they kept trying to charge my cashapp card. So I finally got fed up with it and just blocked them. So these SOB’s go in and start charging PayPal and any other payment method that has my name attached to it! My grandson has a genetic disorder and has a separate account but since he is 6 he has to have his guardian on it which is me. In the last month they have taken HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS from his account! I am doing what I can to try to recover it, but so far it ain’t much unless these jerks just want to give it back we are out the money . SUMMARY- Charge too much for an alarm Make it hard to cancel Steal money anyway

I signed up for this on an impulse (because I have ADHD…. Hence the interest in Wisey). I then looked at how horrible the app was - truly out of date - and wanted to pull out immediately. I saw the HORRIBLE reviews as well all over the internet. I emailed customer service literally minutes after signing up and asked to be refunded. I was then given a rude lecture via email about how “I signed up on purpose”. They agreed to cancel my membership but would not refund the fee even though I did not actually use Wisey. Most ADHD apps understand the basics of ADHD and impulse control and will refund your money. After the initial rude email, I got the run around and then finally they stopped responding to my very polite request to have the $30 bucks I paid to sign up refunded. This is some poor understanding of ADHD, and some very poor customer service. Also, seems like they are preying on the very people they proclaim to be helping. They should change the name to “UNWisey”.

This is not a straight forward purchase. The refund will only be once you complete 2 weeks and cannot be about having issues with scheduling. Which that’s all this is… an alarm maker. First you agree to the $15 subscription and pay for it THEN you get a link to an ebook to download but once you click it you’re charged for it because they already have your info so they take another $17 and call that another subscription which there’s no way to unsubscribe from that one without emailing them. They tried to tell me the purchase was obvious but it 100% was not. Don’t waste your money though. Your phones come with free alarms you can title and set. Just another useless app preying on ADHDers they know may not remember to cancel the subscription. And the ebook is about mindful eating. Mmk. It’s all just a way they can get a quick buck. And tacking on subscriptions after having your cc info is not ok.
