A lot of people with chronic pain or autoimmune disorders have cognitive impairments related to their diagnosis. Come to think of it, Iโve heard the same about cancer survivors for years (or forever) after chemotherapy. Iโm seeking help with a form of that known as โfibro fogโ. I just set up my first task, cleaning the living room - thatโs the project that has been top of my list for the last three months. I told the AI to double the time estimates and it did - thatโs great! โฆBut Iโm still a long ways away from having a list that looks realistic or doable. If that sounds like an impossible situation, well, it is, but I think that itโs within reach for the intake questionnaire to accommodate people in my situation. Ask some version of โpreferred Pomodoro intervalsโ (for me, thatโs 45 minutes of rest for every 15 minutes of work) and โnumber of Pomodoros per dayโ (for me, 2). That means that, for me, cleaning the living room is actually four tasks spread out over two days - tidy, dust (dry), clean (wet), and vacuum/sweep. If I could do that much, Iโd still be in an impossible situation, but I would also be way better off than I am right now.
I'll start with the positive. It's a good idea. The AI creates subtasks so I don't have to, which can make things easier on my already overtaxed brain. It is helpful to see how much extra time it's taken me to compete a certain step. I'll admit though. I bought this app, but don't use it. My number one complaint is that when the time is up for certain step of a task it sends a notification to my phone. That's it. I have an iPhone so all I get is a little ding. I don't hear it or notice it, because I'm involved in an activity. I have ADHD, I forget the app is even running. I need an alarm to go off, preferably one I can set to go off multiple times until I finish the step. Another feature I'd like is the ability to have multiple tasks going at once. I can only have one going at a time. This is not ideal. I gave it three stars because I hope it gets better. Just a few small improvements would truly make this great.
I have ADHD and I downloaded this months ago as it seemed like a good tool to use to manage myself. I of course didnโt use it at first because of course (ADHD). But I asked for constant reminders to use it and have always gotten them. I finally put my foot down to clean my room and created a task for it and it created subtasks to make things easier. You can change the length of them, the difficulty of the task itself, and set a reminder. The AI subtask creator can do a multitude of tasks as well like a PC Build, Feeding your Animal, and more. Any task you create it will generate subtasks for it. Thank you for constantly reminding me to use it, and I finally have.
