You guys probably don't have many people tracking the levels that Vivoo's tests are used to track at 21, but upon coming off of 7 years of forced birth control, after starting at what was essentially the beginning of my natural cycle (meaning I never got to figure out my own cycle before I was put on birth control), I figured it good to test myself regularly to make sure my body's doing all the right things, especially since there's a family history of fertility issues. But to make it impossible for anyone under 22 to make an honest health related account altogether is kind of shabby, especially when you know there are (not many, but still) married 18-21 year olds out there that are trying to become pregnant, or maybe fertility tracking for just the opposite. I can't even review the rest of the app because it won't let me move past the "birthday" screen, so unless I figure out how to do it myself (which I will be doing with the test I bought, then never again with this app), I basically wasted money on a test I thought would've been perfect for my tracking journey. You'd think that because fertility doesn't start at 22, you wouldn't have to lie about your age to see your results 5 months too young, as a fully grown adult. I understand age restrictions, but 18 makes sense. 22 does not.
Well, I suppose it works OK, though I use two different types of urine tests. The other one is like a traditional dip test you would find in a doctors office and says everything is fine except slight leukocytes found. This one shows me as being dehydrated, low mag/cal, high protein, ketones and acidic. Without a third party confirmation, it’s likely I’ll never know which is correct. The only real issue I have with this is that it absolutely will not allow me to compare past tests despite showing that I can. When I click on “compare” it just greys everything out and same thing with “show history” and I must say this is extraordinarily frustrating and really provides no real insights. I wanted to purchase the personalized vitamins but wanted to wait until I had a good idea of what my body was doing from week to week and apparently I can’t. So, it would be nice to have this issue fixed!
So glad I invested in your startup. This is the direction medicine needs to take. It’s all in the early accurate diagnosis and partnership between the sovereign self responsible individual and healthcare professionals. This is just the beginning-you will go far! Kudos-thank you for your work-don’t ever stop-keep expanding your product-there is so much more to be done. Accurate Diagnostics apart from one Dr. or PA’s 5 minute assessment and subsequent subjective opinion needs to be the focus of future medicine serving more people cost effectively and efficiently. Above all individual participation and attunement, responsibility and empowerment in one’s own health vs a top down approach is the call of the day and the only way we will become a healthier nation.
