I’ve been using the Uplift app for over 5 years now, and as an airline million miler, I can confidently say that it’s been a game-changer in my battle against jet lag. Traveling across multiple time zones for business used to leave me drained and exhausted—until Uplift came along. The app is incredibly user-friendly, guiding you through every step of the process. It customizes a plan based on your travel itinerary, using scientifically backed methods like light exposure and sleep schedules to help your body adjust to the new time zone. I’ve found that it only takes 2 minutes of my time, and I usually do it right on the airplane as it taxis to the gate. One time, I forgot to use Uplift, and I ended up going through a horrible bout of jet lag—it was a stark reminder of how effective this app truly is. Overall, Uplift is a must-have for anyone who travels frequently. I highly recommend it!
Had the misfortune of attempting to start a free trial right before my big trip, just as Uplift was having technical difficulties (which I learned from their response to my previous review). Updating my previous one-star rating and hoping to give it another shot on my next big trip. Previous review: Wish I could try it, but I keep getting “User not found.” I’m a developer so I don’t think it’s user error. I suspect their user accounts backend is no longer running. Pity, I was looking forward to trying it.
OMG, it works! When you input your departure time, arrival time, and duration of flight, the Uplift app shows you acupressure points that you hold when you arrive at your destination, and voila! Your body’s internal clock is somehow re-set to the local time zone. I don’t understand how it works, but it actually WORKS! Last month, I used it going to/from the U.S. and Australia, and I suffered Not One Ounce of jet lag, in either direction! This app is pure genius and will benefit anyone who is changing time zones! Worth every penny, and a lot more. In the past, I flew into Australia two days before any event, so that I could recover from the jet lag. The expense of those extra two days is no longer needed! I cannot say enough good things about Uplift. BTW, I am a baby boomer and this is the first time I’ve ever reviewed an App.
