So much fun scraping players to get daily packets or getting games in for $$ to buy packs. After about 3-4 days youโll need to fork over some money if you want to get better and at the end of the day itโs not worth it. Once you are done with your first league I lose multiple games a week where Iโm an 88.3+ team and I have better fitness and training impact but continually lose games to <84 ranked teams with less fitness or less training. It builds up bc Iโm unable to get the money from those wins or even better collect my wins to get the better packs you receive from winning your league games more! Therefore it requires a lot more pay to play to excel!
Very fun and easy to play, isnโt complicated with challenges and ways to receive packs. Also very quick/easy to play, I received a lot of batteries to play quick matches, and once they ran out I bought some with gems since they also give you a good amount at the start which is very good and useful. One thing that is frustrating is that you canโt really sell players, Iโve bought many but mine canโt be sold and I have them for the cheapest out of all. I think the issue is just a matter of how little ppl are playing the game so itโs not that big of a deal but it is frustrating.
UFM 26 has some strong potential as a football manager game with updated rosters and a lot of strategic depth. However, there are some major drawbacks that make the experience frustrating. The biggest issue is the fitness recovery systemโplayers regain stamina at just 1% per hour, which means it can take several days before theyโre ready again unless you spend money. This ties into the second problem: heavy monetization pressures. The game is enjoyable for a handful of matches per day, but progress quickly stalls unless you buy energy packs or premium items. The training mechanics also feel tedious. Performance drops every night, so youโre constantly grinding to recover stats that just fall again the next day. On top of that, trade challenges are unnecessarily difficult without spending money, and the gameplay loop starts to feel more like a chore than a fun management experience. Visually, the game could use some upgrades. The match animations are repetitive, and not all real-world players are even available at launch, which is disappointing for fans who expect a full database. It also would be nice if the transfer market was easier to use and trade players with the system seems wonky on who you can sell because of them being on your starting 11 which doesnโt make sense. Overall, UFM 26 is a game with good ideas and potential, but the slow recovery times, paywalls, and repetitive design hold it back. Unless the developers rebalance the fitness and monetization systems, itโs hard to recommend beyond casual play.
