This is the only food delivery app which feels like there is a human sitting on the other side of it! Each feature is very well thought of and very human! What a great place to start conversations about food and get instant food reccos on days when I don’t know what to eat! Big hug to the founders 🥰
Thrive is my go-to app not only for ordering but discovering or bookmarking my favourites. I can create lists of my fave spots, ask the community for reccos on places I want to visit or when I’m looking for my next spot. Not only that Thrive allows me to pick 5 of my fave restaurants and offers me a fixed discount on every order at them all day all week no limits!
Tonight I placed an order for Pizza from one of the regular restaurants I normally order from. Since the ‘Thrive’ App does not allow you to choose your “crust size or flour variety”, I wrote under the special instructions box specifically to send the regular crust and regular flour pizzas. Order got delivered with both pizzas in “thin crust”, I do not know about the flour but it tasted normal. Anyway, I proceeded to complain to Thrive via their WhatsApp customer care, I was simply told to call the restaurant next time instead of writing instructions. Now what is the point of having the special instructions box? Restaurants are supposed to follow customer’s instructions and the app that I’ve placed my order through should properly convey the message, am I right? Disappointed with Thrive’s pathetic customer support. Swiggy / Zomato has options to choose crust etc, restaurants push customers to buy via Thrive, but if this is the service I will not buy anything from your App, would rather pay that extra money for better service. Thanks!
