I loved it, I had no problems with controls or finding objects on my IPhone 14! I had a great story with great voice acting. Iโve died all the different ways. Iโve reached multiple different endings. Itโs not an easy game but itโs not so hard that you donโt even wanna play. everything makes sense that I have figured out so far. I think this game is a lot better than people are giving it credit for. Anyway I loved it, still only finished about half the endings, because some of the endings take repeating over and over I took a little break from it because of course repetitive things can get boring but sometimes itโs worth it to find out the ending like in โ12 minutesโ.! Hope we get more of these
Never played on PC, saw it in the store, thought Iโd try it outโฆ How do you make a Point and Click feel SO terrible on mobile? Doesnโt seem too hard to make a Point and *Tap game, but they failed miserably. The 3 points another review made are absolutely right. Thereโs a โHighlightโ button in the bottom left. You have to hold it. Holding it makes you run Left. So you have to hold Right so you stand still. Easy fix, poorly thought out. I didnโt even know there was a โRight Clickโ so I wandered around for 2 deaths and an hour and a half playtime w/ nothing new presenting itself before I looked up a walkthrough. The guy pulls a taser out of a trash can Iโve searched 6 times. A comment asked the question for me. He asks โdid you right click?โ So I looked at mobiles controls and see thereโs a Two Finger Tap. I went to the trash can in my game and Two Finger Double-Tapped on the trash can probably 8 times before it actually registered because the cursor dances back and forth between your two fingers opposite sides of the item over and over. Itโs SO unintuitive. I want to make it ABSOLUTELY clear that unless youโre playing on an iPad maybe, you have to FIGHT w/ the controls to play the game. Itโs not something youโll be able to โlearnโ or get proficient or even get USED to after some time. It simply could not be a worse implementation of Point and Click on mobile. Iโm being redundant in this review because I want to make it evident that you should steer clear until the Devs completely revamp the control scheme. Ditch the cursor. Ditch the Two Finger Double Tap. Donโt make the โHighlightโ button โtransparentโ and still move you.
I love pixel art indie games, and I also love point and click style adventure games. Both remind me of my childhood in the early 90s playing Lucasarts games my dad brought home on cd Roms. This game seems like it could be fantastic, but the controls are so frustrating itโs very hard to get into and enjoy. 1. โ2 finger clickโ is almost impossible. If you have manly hands (like myself) 2 fingers span across ยผ of the width of the screenโฆ.and now the game has no idea where youโre trying to click 2. When you click the hotspot button, your character goes running towards the left side of the screen because it also thinks youโre clicking to walk to that point Generally it just needs thought through better. I donโt know this for fact, but it seems like it is probably a PC game that was ported to mobile and wasnโt thought through very wellโฆthe round pegs were just crammed into square holes and the dev called it a day. Tweak the controls and itโll probably be great
