Thread Jam - Untangle 3D Ropes

This game has good sounds and visuals overall for a puzzle game but there isn’t a lot to look forward to. You encounter the main mechanics over the first 50 levels and the game doesn’t change much after that apart from layout. You can use coins for power ups and to get out of hard spots. But you can only get them for free by completing levels. And as levels get harder, you can’t get as many, so you can’t use them when you need them most. The streak system is also a joke. The first reward is an extra slot that disappears when you use it, and even if you get items down the line it’s very difficult to achieve and not worth it. Even if you paid to remove ads, you would still need power ups to play later levels, so the game isn’t even better without ads.

Edit: they have fixed the game crashing issue (at least for me). While the developer response sorta missed the mark (you still told me to contact support even though I told you I already did), I’m still gonna rate 5 stars because I DO love this game. Cheers! Original title: Want to rate five stars. But it won’t open As of yesterday-ish, I was unable to open the game. I would click it on my home screen, it load for about five seconds, then crash and return to the home screen. I tried again today—same thing. *I was able to submit a ticket* by clicking support in the upper right very quickly then switching it to safari, but it took several tries before I was able to do this because I really only had a few seconds to pull it off. As soon as this is fixed I’m happy to rate this game five stars. It’s one of my favorites. I’m hoping the devs respond to this with something other than telling me to open a ticket, as *I already have*. I just want others to be aware that the game may not work at the moment for them, as other reviews have shown.

I love this game! Nice and colorful graphics. I enjoy that it makes you think but it’s not so difficult you give up on the game. Only downfall is the latest update - now it takes almost a half hour to get just one life when you’ve used them all up. I know it’s to help encourage purchases to get the hearts back to play. One of my favorite qualities of the game was how quickly the 5 lives you’re given to play filled back up. It encouraged me to enjoy and play longer. Now it causes me to just move onto others games and wait the time out. All in all a fantastic game!
