Little Farm Story: Idle Tycoon

So, I played Rent Please for monthssss, then I found this game and completely stopped playing Rent Please because I got hooked on this one. 😂 I’ve been playing for a while now and genuinely really like the game, but one thing that’s frustrating is the redemption codes. Every time I find codes through Facebook groups, Reddit, etc., literally NONE of them work for me, even though I’ll see other players in the comments saying they worked for them. I also spend quite a bit of money on this game—honestly, way more than I’ve ever spent on any other game. With Rent Please, once you spend a certain amount, you become a valued player and they’ll actually email you special redemption codes and rewards, which I think is pretty cool. I really wish this game had something similar to reward players who consistently spend money. I faithfully renew ALL of my tools plus the faster horse every 7 days like clockwork. 😂 On top of that, I’m constantly buying the $9.99 package for 2,000 coins and sometimes the $25 package for 5,000 coins. At this point, it would be really nice to have some type of loyalty or VIP reward system for players who consistently support and spend money on the game.

I love playing this game really fun only issue is the times we have to wait for upgrades they are legit 2 hours plus , also the pop up ads and the 7 day vip pass like why not just make it unlimited why do I need to only have 7 days for equipment I paid for , and lastly make the trader orders more simple and easy if my chickens only produces 18 eggs why I’m I getting a large demand on it meaning they ask for the most outrageous amount of items like 50 plus. Also going to other farms and the islands is so unfair because if I want blueprints but I also need supplies like coal or silver its under the same energy so if I went to my island twice I can’t get any blueprints so change it to where we can go unlimited. Make the game online so we can play with friends and level up together. And the prices are crazy I really don’t wanna keep spending 30 dollars every time I get on this game make my upgrades easy so I can upgrade my player and the farm. And the guys that help you clean the island they don’t collect all of the items from the island. Also when I leave the game please have the game continue working I shouldn’t get back on my game and it’s the same I expect everything on the farm with be full so I can push out my trader orders and customers orders pleassseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Listen it will make the game so great !!!!!!’

I’m an extremely busy person, so I don’t get much time to wind down. I get maybe 2 hours a night at best before I have to go to sleep and redo the day all over again.. So when I do have a small amount of time to play some mobile games to relax, the last thing I want to be doing is watching an unavoidable ad (no joke) every 1-2 minutes. I understand the reasoning behind in-game ads for free games like these. But it’s gotten to a point where they are so frequent that it makes the game more of a chore than something fun. I have spent $ on removing ads on games that I deem (for lack of a better word) “deserving”, and where I feel it would be worth it. But when games like this have such frequent, and not to mention extremely repetitive ads; it doesn’t even give me the chance to try out the game to possibly purchase in-game upgrades later on before I close it out and uninstall. All in all; it’s a fun, straightforward, mind-numbing game if you’re willing to sit through forced 15-30 sec. repetitive ads every 2 minutes. OR feel it’s worth it to spend $8 to remove ads after spending an hour in app with 30 of those minutes being used to zone out at the most obnoxious ads of all time.

I LOVED this game. At one point I was playing this game so much that my boyfriend made me check my screen time and I was spending an average of 50 hours a week on this game- which looking back was excessive lol but it used to be SO much fun. I wasn’t opening any other apps on my phone and I was telling everyone I came across about how fun this game was. The recent updates have made it so miserable to play though that I have barely opened the app in weeks and NOW it’s harder to get coal/iron/wood since the don’t allow you to bring resources back anymore. The constant need for scrolls and maps is miserable. Obtaining enough scrolls to do anything on the farms if you upgrade them completely takes hours and getting maps was only tolerable because you were able to bring resources back with you and now that you can’t it feels like a chore. I spent a lot of real life money on this game and watched hundreds and hundreds of ads while playing as well. I don’t know if I’ll ever open the app again. Games are meant to be fun and instead it felt like dread after these last couple of changes. I hope they hear the complaints and do something so everyone else doesn’t quit too, as I know tons of players are upset. There are many MANY people in the Facebook groups and Reddit threads that are quitting as well. Lower the requirement for water for the plants or the amount of coal needed, let us bring resources from the other farms again, and let us spend the money on the conveyor farms for scrolls or this app will surely be dead within months. Greed got the best of this one, it’s all a money grab now. RIP.

I enjoy playing this game and I’ve spent a reasonable amount of money on some of the characters that will mine resources for you but I’m on level 15 now and the game is becoming increasingly frustrating and unenjoyable. The coal and blue gear things are tedious and much too time consuming to mine myself over and over. Additionally, it is WAY too expensive to outright purchase those resources. I even purchased a level 1 worker to help mine coal from the islands for me but the frequency that coal is needed for upgrades in the game and the fact that I still have to go out there to get the coal repeatedly, is getting really annoying. It’s the with the blue gear things. You need way too many for each upgrade and it’s boring to have to go out to nearby farms and do the same activity over and over again for such a limited number of gears. I really don’t want to, but I’m at a point where if something doesn’t change soon, I’m just going to have to delete the game. Prices are much too unreasonable and doing it manually is much too tedious. Please find a much more reasonable middle ground!

Honestly: ⭐️⭐️/5 Love this game it’s the only game I’ve been playing for months. However, there are WAYYYY too many paid ads and things they want you to pay for, and not a dollar here, a dollar there. NEVER in my life have I played a phone game that wants to charge $15 so you can use the golden tool upgrades for a few days ( I repeat…. A few days, no you don’t get them permanently ). Upgrades take forever, so if you want to play for free and only watch the forced ads just know you’ll get about 10 min of game play/ completing the different requests before having to wait 30min-1hour plus before you can make more progress. I’m going to delete the game here soon because the farther along you get in the game if you don’t pay the $20 to permanently remove forced ads they become more and more frequent till you have a 30sec- 2 min forced ad every 3 min of game play. This game I’d go as far as to say is similar to Stardew Valley but with the amount of paid items in the end it’s not worth it.

I wanted to first say I love this game I play tycoons all the time and this might be the only one that keeps me entertained for hours I would like to give some recommendations though the diamonds should be easier to get or less should be asked for somethings take way to long and to much effort to achieves it makes you not wanna play I noticed someone else said more areas to play absolutely agree also maybe add a space where I can review what everything helps with after playing for a while you kinda forget what things do like the laboratory or how they help it would be real helpful to have something to go back to for advice or guidance the games also gets really repetitive after reaching around level 7 which lead me to lose interest in wanting to play it anymore other than that really wanna see where this game goes it has the potential to be one of my favorite played games i appreciate the option to play without ads for a small fee
