I played the original TIB shortly after it came out and it was nice…had heard that a new version was in the works and was excited about it…had to step away for a bit and I happened to see the banner about TIB 2 so I decided to check it out…for one thing going for it is that Ozy and Mythra are still here going at it strong, interacting with the players and making the events fun…they listen to suggestions, answers questions (even the odd ones) and will even pop up a surprise event or gift for everyone…the game itself if just overall fun with new and great graphics, lots of new ships, weapons and gear as well as new planets, garrisons, enemies and npc events. Lots of new people and lots of old people from the original. You get to hang out with your old friends and make new ones in the process. It might seem a little daunting in the beginning but you will catch on pretty quick and there’s lots of folks here that will help you out with your questions, ships and gear to keep you going strong. Give it a shot…you’ll love it.
Living it up in TiB 2, can’t believe it’s finally here.. or it’s been around for a couple months. Things to say, well… I’ve played TiB 1 for a long time and this game definitely is an improvement from the old feeling of the first game. The ship models are great, and community as crazy as it comes. Everyone is willing to help and grow stronger, and of course there’s competition between fleet battles. I played the beta in Phase 1 and 2, and can say the developers took into account what the testers had any issues about and fixed bugs almost immediately. Little bit new things and UI that takes a little bit to figure out. Multiple ships at the same time, multiple guns and drones, and a Corp system as it was previously, a crafting system and even Arena. -PallyDen
The best part of the game is I can now have my own fleet in one account. I only have 2 ships right now and thanks for making ship 2 available once you discover 100% of the starting area. It helps with venturing out and not dying as quick. I still die a lot. I am the professional dier of the game. Such a pro! I haven't done pvp, too scared still. I do have a Corp but I haven't talked much and everyone seems pretty cool so far. The only annoying thing for me is the guides in game are really lacking. They really need a more picture detail guide for people who hate reading. (Those who quit reading this because it's so wordy.) I typically love crafting in games, and there is no detailed discription how it work. I research everything I don't use and yet I can't craft anything. It gave me 6 items at the beginning to make, but after that nothing. I feel like that is a glitch or I am missing something obvious. I play on pc, mobile and steam deck. Steam deck is my favorite so far.
The wildly popular online space adventure returns with a gorgeous new sequel! Captain a fleet of ships to hunt aliens, trade resources, loot treasure...
