1. When I start the renewal process but do not complete or submit it, the application is not saved. Instead, I have to wait 24 hours before restarting the process from the beginning. Why can’t the system save the application as a draft so users can continue from where they left off? Is this a regulatory requirement? 2. While trying to submit payment, for most of my attempts, the credit card field was greyed out and could not be accessed. After multiple attempts, it became available once, but when I entered a valid credit card number, the system displayed an “invalid credit card” error message. 3. Additionally, when I navigate to Account > Add Payment Method, the credit card number field does not allow any input at all, making it impossible to add a payment method. 4. During the renewal process, In the address section, the mailing address field is blank and the “New Address” option is automatically selected. There is no way to uncheck or change this selection. As a result, I am required to enter my existing address as a new address every time I use the system. Issues #1 and #4 have been occurring since I first started using this application several years ago. It is concerning that such basic usability and functionality problems (unless #1 is a regulatory requirement) continue to exist after so long. The recurring nature of these issues suggests significant gaps in requirements validation, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing. Hope you take this as constructive feedback and address these issues. UPDATE: Thank your quick response. Will you be addressing issue #4? Mailing address field doesn’t show anything and we are forced to choose “New Address” and retype the address we have had for decades.

This app is supposed to make the process of renewing my vehicle registration a simple fast, easy , and convenient process, but that is far from the truth. This is the third day in a row in which I attempt to renew my registration and each time after I enter all my information and get ready to submit the “submit button” does not work. I have to log out log back in and try to do it again only to receive an error message. The message indicates, “Return in 24 hours- Our records show you recently started a vehicle registration renewal but didn't submit it. To complete a renewal on TxT, you'll need to return in 24 hours and start a new one”. This isn’t the first time that this happens the same thing occurred last year when trying to renew my registration, I contacted customer service and was told I would need to wait the 24 hours and try again as it is a glitch in the system and it is a known issue. The reviews are filled with customers expressing similar experiences when trying to use the website or the app there are tons of responses from the app, developers that say something along the lines of “ sorry you’re having trouble” yet there is no resolution to these known issues that have been going on for more than 24 months. This is not an application I would recommend to anyone however, if you’re like me and don’t have the time to go and wait in line for hours on end just to do a Registration your left with no other choice but to deal with this ridiculous nonsense.

Very immature app. Scanning existing registration doesn’t work even though that functionality is in the app - manual entry does work. No option to specify credit card has same addr as the mailing addr I entered for the registration, so had to enter that twice. I clicked to start renewal on one vehicle but cancelled prior to complete - now the all says I can’t renew that vehicle because the record is locked, so recommends I login again in 24 hours when it has become unlocked. I wanted to renew multiple vehicles in one sitting but it made me choose between entering CC info for each renewal or saving my CC info on the govt site. I’d prefer not to save the CC info but that choice was a pain. It made me choose between mail or email notification of upcoming renewal - this is minor but why not allow both. Overall lots of data entry required to set up TxT, way more than renewing with TxDmv - I don’t understand why the TxDmv info couldn’t have been transferred automatically. Hopefully this is all one time initial use overhead and next year the process will be easier than TxDmv was… To the developers - I understand v1.0 is usually missing functionality and ease of use. Please keep at it and improve it with time. Lots of potential here to simplify lives. Thx
