Ripoff

I know this is a free game but the assets are stolen directly from Mount and Blade Warband. The controlls are clunky and hard to use. It doesn't help that there's no tutorial or guidance, which is why it took me a few minutes just to figure out how to move my character. If you pull the run button up too much your character just stops moving. You can't rotate the camera on the map either. Another thing I dislike is that the map is a bunch of islands thrown together. It's supposed to be Europe (as it mostly has European factions), but it looks more like Polynesia. The factions don't really make sense either. Why is China and France on the same map in 1300? It's kind of silly. Overall, very poor game. --------- EDIT: Couldn't figure out why anyone would make this, but then I found out the game runs intrusive advertisements. I guess I didn't play long enough for one? I wonder how Taleworlds would react to someone using their intellectual property to make a mobile game that makes profit for the thief. Hope this gets taken off the app store.

Add a custom battles mode, also (iPhone XR) has a lot of glitches

I believe this game has so much potential and can go a lot further, but there needs to be a option of higher graphics, and maybe a icon above the soldiers head to identify who’s soldier is whose. But those are my small suggestions the big thing that could push this game in more downloads and play time would be “custom battles” were you get to choose the amount and type of soldier against the amount and type of any other soldier you choose, plus it would help players with strategy and so much more you could even name it “training grounds”. New notes - this game has a little trouble with high end devices like iPhone X and up and even iPhone 9, and the game doesn’t fit full screen either

Best Mount and blade imitation I’ve found in the App Store

If you aren’t familiar with mount and blade, this game is basically an rpg where you start out as a peasant, then work your way up to a competent warrior, war leader, and then ruler of your own nation as you take over the world. Get better armor and weapons, more powerful troops, and engage in land, seize, and ship battles as a soldier in third person among a maximum number of 150 soldiers per skirmish(though you don’t have control of of the ship in battle, unfortunately). It was a little hard starting out as most enemies can wipe the floor with you and your cheap recruits and troop morale falls when you loose too many men - or just when you’re moving around the map. I decided after constantly losing men to desertion it would be better to go around solo hunting robber bands, which you can actually get a decent amount of money doing and work to getting top tier armor and weapons. I got the best (I think) armor and bow, and along with a horse (or even doable on foot), started taking out ~30 man groups of bandits and a few very small faction armies. After that point, any morale lost muddling through the beginning of the game is fully gained back, so it’s worthwhile to start gathering an army. There are plenty of rebel and pirate bases around the map at any given time, or a recently captured castle with a low garrison is a good way to go in starting your new kingdom. Or you can work for a faction for a bit, but you don’t get to control the places you take from what I can tell. The cities have the options of buying land for income, improving the defenses, and customizing your own faction’s troops. When you capture more castles and towns you get lords with their own little armies joining you, though it doesn’t seem that there is any way to give them orders (they will roam around, band together and siege places every so often though, so still useful). All in all, it’s pretty fun, though with a few minor glitches and some battles being much more advantageous to just autoresolve. There are ads before and after every battle, but they only last for five seconds each, so it isn’t that bad.
