SRP FCU Mobile

I have been a SRP member for many years. I have had mostly good experiences with them. There have been some recent glitches but the CFO called me and he was literally the nicest man in the world. Soooo sweet. I had already talked to a man named Larry who is on the board at SRP. The last time I saw my friend Larry he said that if you have any trouble with SRP, please let me know. So I did. Mr. Larry is a great man also. Super nice. One of the nicest ever. He does not want any member to have any trouble with customer service nor any other issues at all. They are very serious about making the member happy. I would highly recommend SRP as a good place to use in your banking. I have my mortgage with them. They have only been great when it comes to all of that. When I’ve had some fraud issues, there is a lady named Pamela and she is like the best lady ever to help you. Very good at her job. Very nice very skilled. I believe SRP trains their employees well. If you’re looking for a place to Bank, try SRP… They are in Evans, Augusta, Georgia and North Augusta and Aiken SC and several other places. I have not researched where all they are located.

The big banking giants have squandered their trusts and most financial advisors (that I’ve read) recommend credit unions. The service, advice, problem solving is great. Once a problem with erroneous late charge and SRcfcu put thru a 3-way call and their spokeswoman was to the point determined that my payment had been purposefully delayed to create an expensive overcharge fee. Never happened again and they dropped the fee. My credit union doesn’t play! From tellers to svc reps to loan officers, the warm and friendly staff will get you where you need to go. !!

A feature that would be nice if this could be implemented somehow. The message that pops up when one is locked out of one’s account. If you’re locked out of your account because you just need to update your password, please have that message appear instead of “Contact us”. On the web browser it tells you to reset your password, which is preferable. The app made it appear that the issue was more severe and pressing than reality. This just happened to me and since SRP is closed when I figured this out, I couldn’t contact them. Thankfully (or unfortunately) I’m pretty stubborn and tried to log in through my browser. Immediately I was prompted to update my password and log in again. If that can’t be done in app for whatever security reasons, send an automated email to the email on file to prompt the user to update the password. Also please bring quick balance back to the widgets and Apple Watch. I’m no developer and don’t know how these work. But it’s be a nice change. Otherwise, everything else works fine. I like that I can rename my accounts and toggle ones on and off from view.
