Doesn’t understand how to balance

Listen, I too am struggling to find good alternatives to Angry birds due to Rovio’s incompetence. But the developers have no idea how to simply copy Rovios homework. Many of the levels are designed to compensate for the rouge-like card system; placing tomato’s far from one another, giving them armor, or just surrounding them with blocks to make them inaccessible. While this solves the issue of levels being too easy with one epic upgrade, it makes them incredibly unfair when a player doesn’t receive any upgrades that would otherwise make these levels only a challenge. By designing levels for the endgame, they’ve made the begging to mid-game a slog of unavoidable damage. Additionally, by limiting your characters to two and giving you random ones at that, you will be placed in levels that are made to compensate for other characters abilities and will be unable to do anything. If you had the carrot and pomni, but the level has hundreds of blocks clearly planning for you to have Bert of the melon, you will lose. When Rovio gave individual birds abilities they were designing them to be able to address specific challenges, bomb bird destroys many blocks and pigs in a small area. The yellow one is precise and fast, made for taking out supports or killing a specific pig. It’s clear the developers just recreated angry birds without understanding what made it good, challenging, or fun. The art style is neat, but it’s a coat of paint over something that has not had much thought truly put into it.

I love the game

Hello developers, I’ve been playing the game for a few months now and even before the newer updates, and i love the new features and everything you guys have added and i can’t wait for the new characters to come out, but i’ve thought about how cool it would be to have a playground mode where i could set up my own levels and apply as many cards that i want to foods, and maybe someplace to publish these levels or challenges to the other players, i’ve also really liked how the gravity fields work and thought it would be really fun to have circular fields, kind of like a planet’s orbit and be able to curve the shots like that, anyways that’s my rant and ideas for the game! Over all i really love it!

Fun But Frustrating

This game is very fun. I love the physics and just the way it plays in general. There are only a couple of problems that should be addressed. When you get to later levels, you take way too much damage. I’ve lost before the boss just by taking damage from a couple of tomatoes each level. Also, the game is mostly skill based, but as you progress, your winning becomes heavily dependent upon whether or not you get good heroes and skills. Another thing is that on the boss levels, you are going to die more than half of the time. It doesn’t matter if you destroy 2/3 of the tomatoes. The other 1/3 will almost always kill you regardless of health. I guess what I’m trying to say is that damage goes up faster than you can progress and it makes the levels mostly luck-based. Overall it is still a great game, and I’m looking forward to the new content 👍.
