Spartan Camera Management

I’ve tried numerous cell cameras in the past along with all their apps and Spartan is far and away better than any of them. I was reluctant to try Spartan for years due to them being around a longer time and not being the shiny new fancy cell camera others claimed to be. The inflated megapixels and claims of amazing trigger speeds and picture quality lured me to other brands for a while. After having issues with multiple cameras from other brands, I finally decided to give the tried and true, lower megapixel rating, rock solid Spartan cameras a chance. I was blown away. The 8 megapixel photos on these cameras are clearer than any 30mp on any other camera. The app is amazing and very easy to use. You can share your cameras with others and download HD photos and videos with ease. These are the best cameras I’ve ever used and will continue to be a customer for life.

Please heed the advice from all the recent reviewers! As one person just said, they answer all the negative reviews here to make it appear as though they are concerned, which is not the case. I’ve talked to John, who is the guy in charge, MANY times in the past only basically to be dismissed. Talking to anyone else in customer service or tech support is even further disappointing. Nothing is EVER done! The app goes downhill with EVERY update. It’s like it’s not tested whatsoever before it’s released! Of course they will deny that, but after EVERY update, it gets worse. From whomever is designing and maintaining the app, to customer service, to tech support, they are all completely awful and getting worse by the day. I feel like I’m calling a bunch of guys hanging out in their basement making cameras for fun. Incompetence at its finest.The cost to run Spartan cameras is MUCH more than other brands, and WAY more than it’s worth! They are not reliable whatsoever. Go with another brand…TRUST ME!!! The camera itself I feel is decent, which it ought to be for the prices you charge for them…but NOTHING that goes along with it is. To the people at Spartan who will reply to this review requesting I call customer service, don’t bother, because as per the usual, you will do nothing.You lost a customer in me, I’ll just let my plan run out since you aren’t even decent enough to issue refunds, and that will be that. I will NEVER again recommend and/or even mention Spartan cameras to anyone except only to tell them to steer clear.

Cameras themselves are top of the line. It’s unfortunate that the app is not. For the life of my i cannot figure out why Spartan hasn’t stayed up to date with all development like other camera brands have. Every single other brand of cellular cameras I have has a much more user friendly, and much more feature rich app than Spartan. And now those others are starting to catch up with product quality as well. This is the bare bones of what a app should be. You can’t save pictures or videos. You can create albums. Those are pretty basic functions that other brands have had for years but Spartan does not.
