Snag - Zero Dollar Items

I never write a review here ! But this app made me do it. I saw an add from facebook saying everything free they advertise like its so easy to use the app so then i downloaded. Then its asking for membership which i thought their promo getting membership will charge me 3.99 a month but no they charge me the whole year the next day! Then i tried searching items on the app but when you click on it, it will take you to different app or website like craigslist! So then i decided that i want to deactive my acct and get a refund but apple doesnt want to refund me which i find ridiculous! I just paid something that is so useless. They should have a customer support for this! Dont get fooled folks!

I downloaded the app and was consistently prompted to subscribe for $10 a week! First off that in itself is crazy as an app that portrays FREE ITEMS. It is not free if I’m paying to even find the items. Second it’s required to even click on a listing let alone to save or message about the items I set it to my current location and prior to purchasing the membership it showed me a screen with multiple items and their distance away from me. As they seemed like decent items I purchased the subscription to at least view the listings. After my purchase all of those items disappeared!! It was left with one item near me and the caption literally read NOT FREE! It was a dog. That’s insane. So I thought well I already paid let’s look at bigger cities near me. Pretty much nothing and then when you click on the snag it button it takes you to freaking Facebook! All of these posts with most good ones being bots or clearly stating they’re not free and they literally just send you to Facebook where you could find it yourself without the costs. Literal shame and false advertising. I hope this app gets shut down soon and I pray no one else falls victim.

I was honestly skeptical before downloading Snag. I’ve tried a bunch of local listing apps before and they were always messy, confusing, or full of stuff that wasn’t even real. Snag ended up being the complete opposite. Everything is way more organized than I expected. The listings are clean, updated, and actually useful. It’s super easy to scroll through and find exactly what you’re looking for without dealing with random spam or chaos. The pickup info is clear, the interface makes sense, and the whole process feels smooth compared to other apps. I’m glad I gave it a chance because it’s become one of the easiest ways for me to find things I need without paying for them. If you’re unsure like I was, just try it. It’s way better than you think.
