I have been eyeing Sézane clothing for probably a year now. My challenge earlier on was that so many pieces looked so beautiful, I could not narrow down where to make my first purchase! I finally ordered my first items this month and I have been very impressed with the quality and style. Unfortunately however, the web site and app are very frustrating. Items added to your bag only remain in there for 29 minutes before it is automatically emptied out if you don’t purchase within that timeframe. I had to reload my cart no less than 7 times to make these purchases. I like to fill up my cart, narrow things down, switch colors, think it over, etc. This may be a few days’ process - not to mention I am busy with children and a job where I am often pulled away in the middle of things. I ended up taking screen shots of my cart so it was easy to refill when automatically emptied, but it would be nice if items can remain in the cart and just be removed if they sell out. Regardless, looking forward to many more beautiful, stylish clothes from Sézane!
Would it kill you to show the hem of a sweater or shirt? All your items are tucked into high waist pants or belted with huge belts. Do your photographer and stylist understand the difference between editorial and sales? Because I don’t need 15 photos of a model lying down, waltzing down some street or lounging into a chair. I need to know what the garment looks like - this includes the hem, waist and cut. Brands at all price points seem to grasp this concept. Your store looks like it’s selling women, not sweaters. I can only assume that the quality has become so diminished that you can’t actually show a clear photo of the entire item. You have to somehow obscure part of it to hide the defects in design. And FYI - most people above a size 2 don’t tuck the entire bottom of a bulky sweater into their pants. I’d like to meet whoever is like, “Hey, today is a good day to look fatter! Lets add a bunch of hidden bulk around my midsection so that inches are added to my waist and hips! Tuck that oversized wool sweater into my trousers.”
I have made two transactions using the app now where I select my size and after purchasing and receiving confirmation both the app and confirmation email have the incorrect size. SST order it was one size up and yesterday’s order was one size down. It’s a very annoying glitch and I’m only able to cancel the order but do not want to because I would more than likely not get the item again. It’s just frustrating to think you’re getting one thing and you aren’t. Other than those two times, the app has been okay. Sometimes, especially on release days it will not let you check out with PayPal and after the 20th time of trying, it will work. Lol. Just glitchy in my opinion, I have hope it will improve.
