Secret kiss with knight: Otome

Honestly I think this game is pretty good. I feel that the plot is slightly short and could be stretched out a bit more but all in all it’s a pretty fluid and enjoyable game plot-wise. I’ve seen people say that the translation is ‘unrecognizable’ and ‘unreadable’, I honestly disagree. Maybe it was altered or smth ? bc for me personally I don’t really see it. Since the game was not originally developed in English, you cannot really insult it’s translation for being incorrect ? If you want correct grammar then use the original ver. Regarding the Merlin side plots I suppose it’s fan service and people may enjoy seeing it, though it may be more acceptable in an Asian perspective, I do think it isn’t appropriate for the game. They could’ve added in a literal two second line of consent or smth? I don’t like how men depicted as submissive are either forced into it or smth that doesn’t ‘suit’ them. Just let sub men be sub ! For that, I give this a solid 4 stars. I feel that the game system is actually pretty fair, guys stop being spoiled 75 gems is not that bad 😭

This is the hottest a game can get on the App store, and I appreciate the creative ways used to toe the line. Genuinely thrilling at some points. Unfortunately, the translation could be much better with some simple mistakes fixed. For that I take away a star. The monetization of the game is pretty fair. You can experience everything the game has to offer completely for free, but you will need to replay it many times and watch many ads. Including potions and outfits, each route costs about 4,000 gems, needs about 8 runs of farming, therefore requiring 3-4 hours of straight-up watching ads and skipping through dialogue. Of course, you get extra gems in the mail, as daily rewards, and from your walk. It is not too overwhelming if you pace yourself. All the characters are attractive and different from one another. I’m not a fan of literally assaulting Merlin through his cries in his second night, and neither am I a fan of Morgan clearly distraught that we have been intimate using her body without her consent. Maybe it is a culture shock of some sort. Galahad is also the most boring character/route to me, but he is also the easiest, and it’s personal preference. Overall, I enjoy the game!

I have played through it once and am now playing through Modred’s route. Definitely a lot of fun and I plan to try the others too. I just noticed a few typos and grammar mistakes in the English version of it so I’ve added them here for the first few eps. Narration: Suddenly a black smoke covering him and he just vanished along with the smoke. Narration: My legs wobbled out of sudden.
