Schnucks Rewards

Schnucks wanting to give us an updated coupon experience means you can no longer see when coupons expire. This is good how?! I prefer to see when they expire. This only benefits Schnucks and frustrates customers. To me, this equals less coupons I'll clip. Also, if the Cardinals hit a home run, you can get a free donut the next day. Sometimes you can click on the free donut button as much as you want and it will never be clipped, even if you click it as early as 10 AM. I can't believe all 10,000 free donuts have been clipped for the day already that early in the morning. I've been able to clip it in the evenings sometimes and still get a free donut.

I love the whole blinking light on the items tag in the store when I’m having a hard time locating something. I like that we can zoom in on images now too. But that’s frill stuff. It’s fluff. The thing the app MUST do is retain our lists accurately and it does not do that. What I HATE and get so freaking angry about is random items being DELETED from our shopping list. Or the account not syncing. I’ll add something to the list and TWELVE HOURS LATER it’s still not showing on my husband’s phone despite being logged in to the same account. And don’t even try to say that we should be having our own accounts, because I don’t know any household that has separate shopping lists on every phone. Every other shopping app does this beautifully Walmart, Costco, Sam’s... You guys do not. It’s the worst. Oh and let’s talk about random items being ADDED to our list that we didn’t add. My husband usually does the shopping because it’s right by his work. At least he’s a smart guy and when he sees something odd he’ll ask before buying. But I can never tell what is actually on his list and if it matches what’s on the list I made. I can’t tell you how many times he has come home and he’s missing many items that I had on the list but he didn’t buy them because they weren’t on his!! SERIOUSLY? This is the kind of thing that makes this app completely useless. Get it together. It’s 2023 and this is basic functionality.

I really enjoyed shopping at my local Waterloo Schnucks. The staff are always friendly, always willing to help and so very polite. When I first moved to Illinois the new Schnucks was not built and still existed at the old Rural King location. I continued to shop in Missouri where I commute to work every day until the new Schnucks was built. Over the last several years I have seen great improvements, not only in quality, variety, selection, prices and excellent customer service especially the last 2 to 3 years. I no longer stop in Missouri to shop. I am also a U.S. Bank customer and I absolutely love the convenience of having US BANK present in the store. The Waterloo Illinois Schnucks store is fantastic! I also really love the new Schnucks rewards points system. I even switched my pharmacy to Schnucks and I feel they provide excellent service! Overall, absolutely outstanding store! Even the parking lot is fantastic, the spaces are wide easily accessible and you never have to worry about door dings. During the winter months the parking lot is extremely well-maintained and greatly appreciated. Also love the new shopping carts as well as the sanitary wipes, the plastic bag recycling and the new addition of Boars Head deli options. If I visit another Schnucks store in any other location, it still doesn’t compare to the Waterloo store. I hope your employees are well appreciated and I can tell you that the manager Lyle, sorry if I’ve missed spelled his name however, he has done a fantastic job in developing that store over the last few years. I have never met him in person but I hear his name a lot and I would like to say thank you. One last thing, the addition of free knife sharpening in the meat department is a great service! Thank you again to all of the Waterloo Schnucks staff!
